Kudzu, either alive & green or dead & dry, has various flammable properties that turn it into an out-of-control bonfire if aren't ready for it. Most people aren't.
I wonder if it being stuck up in the air like that will have it wilt. Then they can just rip it all down and rototiller it into the ground as fertilizer.

But keep the goats on a leash or a tether tied to a spike that has been thoroughly pounded into the middle of the trail, because they need to stay on the trail and clear only the stuff within a few feet of the trail.
That's actually what they do when using goats for things like pasture restoration. And especially invasive shrub management (I'm looking at you, Eurasian privet and bush honeysuckle). Though the food quality is very low for the shrubs above... 20 years ago when they were doing the research project, the goats very effectively cleared the land, but they were severely malnourished and they ended needing vitamin supplements and feed to keep them alive.

The park near me brought in goats to deal with the poison ivy problem. Apparently it has no negative effects on them and they love to eat it.
