I work w/ an IT guy who's annoyingly detailed. I'd say 70% of IT people would "Reboot the server. Everything works now. Ticket closed." But, not this tech. He wants to know when, why, how, will it happen again. He will deep dive an issue and spend an hour writing a page of notes for the ticket and upload the logs over every little hiccup.
I realized that is his super power and we should all be more like that.
