Bricks and Minifigs’ owners are embroiled in a legal battle right now for stealing an old man’s Lego collection. He is in failing health, and so he wanted to sell off his collection to pay bills and send his grandchildren to college. The local BAM agreed to sell it on consignment. Then the owners of the corporation stepped in and seized the whole lot, and refused to pay. They told him to go ahead and try to sue, they’ll just bankrupt him with court fees. (They actually told him this.)

Don’t buy from this company until they make things right. I am sorry that this will affect some franchise owners, but the owners of the corporation need to feel the pressure for their terrible ethics, and illegal dealings. Show the owners that we, the rabid Lego fanbase, won’t tolerate being taken advantage of, and we will stand up for eachother by voting with our dollars.

I've been following RecklessBen's journey as he posts to Youtube, and this story has been absolutely insane. Starts off simple enough but soon enough they've got the cops constantly harassing and arresting Ben and his team, to the point that they needed to flee to mexico to avoid the constant police prosecution in Utah. The cops and courts are refusing to back ben up, even though he literally has evidence that proves everything he said, including video of a call with the Bricks & Minifigs CEO.

Right?! This is absolute madness. RecklessBen is the perfect person to expose all of this, but now they’ve got him indicted on a whole range of charges, and he hasn’t broken a single law.
