My rep is easy. A doctor from a hugely Tea Party area. His votes are perfect with how we want. Districts that are not as homogeneous 1/2

I haven't voted for my rep yet. Moved to the area since the last election. My old rep in Indiana, Susan Brooks, is a douchebag.

In a Republic, we elect someone from among us to represent us. This is not the case any more. They see themselves as "leaders".

Not necessarily. Elections should be based on educated action rather than popular whim. And once elected, officials should be insulated.
