MRW the man who stabbed a 14 year old girl to death in my hometown was found guilty after only two hours of jury deliberation
In 2010, a 14 year old girl Kelli came home from school and interrupted a burglary in progress. Instead of fleeing the scene the man stabbed her multiple times in the back and left her to die on the floor (for her mother to find) and then fled the scene. He also stole her phone and proceeded to taunt her family about her murder for days after through text and facebook posts. He was picked up after only three days (some amazing police work). After stalling the trial with different techniques for three years he finally was brought to justice when the jury found him guilty after only 2 hours of deliberation. Yes.
