On something not alive go for it. Turtles, whales, etc. gotta be careful about tearing up the animal they're attached to. Pretty sure that turtle is still hurt, at the end its shell on the side facing away from camera looks like it's sheared or something going on with it.

#6 whats he spraying on those stains?
clavdivs
The can has some very fine dust mixed with volatile hidrocarbons. The volatiles dissolve the grease, and the dust sucks it. With the air (probably hot) blower he disperses and dries it all without waiting for it to dry.

#21 interesting fact: this is actually easier than what ways to land that might seem simpler. Helicopters can't go straight down very fast because they'll get caught in their own wake.
This circling descent allows the pilot to keep his eyes on the landing zone and has full view of any obstacles. All the rest of the factors like wind and motion are largely instinct.

grujav
Yeah, first thing I thought of was teens or drunks using it to get part way across and then jump/fall into the stream and someone wanting to use it looking at the gondola in the middle of the space. Then saw the crank on the post and it all made sense. Turns out engineers are smart.

It has large ideogram writing on it, so not an European product. Could be a Japanese or a Chinese copy from the 1950's, also the Singer company had a Chinese factory where they made "nostalgia" Singer 15 machines still in the 1970's.

#13 There a place in Victoria BC called Cattle Point. It's where the cattle boats would unload their cargo and the cows would swim to shore. When tourists read the plaque that's there so many think it's was cruel thing to do and that they were just drowning the cows. Even with explications there is still ignorance.

Never had a coke float, is it necessary to remove the majority of the bubbles from the soda water?
Because as someone that makes his own fizzy drink with a SodaStream you don't need to stir it even one bit, the carbonated water automatically mixes the cola concentrate for you. So that vigorous stirring would only be done to remove the bulk of the carbonation. Is it like a mentos and diet coke situation where if you leave the bubbles in the ice cream will make it foam over?
UWAGAGABLAGABLAGABA
If you put ice cream in coke, it will basically do the mentos thing, yes. Also, you'll lose most of the ice cream that way. You'll end up with ice cream flavored bubbles.
TurnsOut42WasASlightMiscalculation
Hmm. I've never used a SodaStream, but I would've thought the stirring was to ensure the thick syrup actually mixed with the soda. That said, adding the ice cream to a float will normally create extra fizz - which I never considered a problem since the fizz was very tasty (combined ice cream and drink, not just the drink fizz).
But no, it's nowhere near adding mentos to the bottle.
TurnsOut42WasASlightMiscalculation
I wonder whether the concentrate for SodaStream is as thick as the old syrup? I know the post-mix you get for fountain dispensing is not as thick
Sonicschilidogs
I know everyone likes to be a pedant, but how exactly do you serve a coke float? You make coke and then add ice cream, so they do, in fact, serve coke the "old fashioned way", they just also added Ice cream to the drink in this video.
MadHatter69
I feel nauseous just thinking about the amount of sugar in that fucking thing...
TurnsOut42WasASlightMiscalculation
Speaking of being pedantic, they made Coke the old fashioned way, then added ice cream to make a float, and then served it

#27 I think this is also called a shaper, and can be used for quite a bit more than planing.
BlootLoper
As @snufflegrumpus says, the difference is what moves. Work piece moves and tool status still, that's a planer. Workpiece stays still and the tool moves, that's a shaper.
isetprettygirlsonfire
No it's a planer. A shaper does a similar job, but works differently. In a shaper the work piece stays still and the tool holder moves
Snufflegrumpagus
They are similar, but typically with a planer the work piece reciprocates while with a shaper the tool holder does.
