And this, among many other reasons, is why the US has to switch to direct vote, get rid of the electoral college, and use a better voting system. Nothing else will ever come close to being acceptable. Every citizen is automatically registered to vote at 17, every person gets a ballot mailed to them for every election, and every person is allowed to vote by mail, in person, early, etc on election day, which is a national holiday. The capitalists and fascists won't ever allow that to happen.

My hope is that between hiring only the most incompetent people and Orange Julius having to have his own way, they override the politically safe GOP gerrymanders in pursuit of even more seats and cut it too fine, resulting in a wipeout.

This is one of the mistakes that the Founding Fathers made: allowing *the party in power* to draw the lines of legislative districts. Would have worked better to have the party **out** of power do that.
