Ideally, proportionately. Make fun of them. Ostracism. Get them removed from venues. And if they're being violent, a good punch in the snoot. Point isn't the response - the point is when someone opts-out of the social contract, they can't hide behind it anymore.

You don't tolerate them. You don't give them an equal platform for debate and don't treat their opinions as worthy of respect
