That picture, and this picture for me. It reminds me of the time when i was a kid and i would see most of the adults in my family still awake. I want to join them, but of course they’d tell me to go back to sleep. Though sometimes they’d let me stay.
Probably part of the reason why i’m fond of the night and staying awake at night.

It reminds me of the gentle glow emitting from the kitchen as my Dad frantically woke my sisters and I up and rushed us out the house, my older brothers following down the hall, and meeting my mom outside holding my newborn twin youngest brother and sister. Yes, it was such a warm light.

I left mine on over night every night cause it was the perfect amount of light to light the kitchen and hallway. Need to pee? Theres enough light. Water? Kitchen is perfectly lit. But, they dont make LED bulbs for over range. So, I put LED lights under the cabinets that I can adjust to a dim level. Its great.

I don't know about "comfortable" or "relaxed". I only used that light because the lighting in my kitchen when I was a kid was awful and there was no lighting over the stove.

We had a stove that actually had a light built in just over the knobs on the back panel and we left that on all the time if someone was going to be out late. The stove was also this weird yellow called Harvest Gold. Unit must have been from the 1970s.

I see so much better when it's 5K, maybe it's me - I'm almost 60 and softer and more yellowish light makes it harder for me.

Daylight spectrum is perfect for over the sink when you're cleaning or near a mirror if you're cutting your hair or something. Can see things much easier

They make lights and bulbs now where you can easily switch the colour temperature, too. I love them. I'll have nice bright daylight colours in the kitchen when I'm preparing food and such, then switch them to a nice warm orange in the evening, for example.

The light is the clock and timer and everything. i bet the the new model is improved and 50% brighter yet. The LED on that range is green which is better at night. The range hood is a nice comforting color tho.

Light in the image looks about 2000K. I always found that tint harsh and ugly. I swapped all the lights for 5000K sunlight bulbs ages ago but 3000K looks like it might be a sweet spot. I have no idea what the oven light is though. I never changed that one. It's not orange.
