The U.S. likes to talk about how bad-ass they are in comparison to North Korea but the thing people don't always realize is that the North doesn't have to have Nuclear weapons. The North could flatten the South whenever they wanted. When I was stationed in Korea we would perform simulations to see what would happen if the North would attack and it was determined that the North would crush the south. The American forces there would act as little more than a speed bump. In addition, North Korea's artillery would decimate Seoul, which is one of the largest's city's in the world.
I get why we would want to shut Lil Kim down, but this war will be very costly.
That said, it should be fought sooner than later because the longer we allow the regime to build the worse the eventual result will be...
Anyway, goodnight, sleep tight, don't let the beg bugs bite.

They would definitely level Seoul but I doubt they'd make it much below the 38th before the US missile counterattack stopped them.

I've talked to others who were stationed in S.Korea that say the exact opposite. they have ancient techniques that are easily countered

No, Seoul is in artillery range. They would be crushed. That said, we could take it back in a few months but that won't bring the back lives

AFAIK, South Korea wouldn't get crushed, they do have pretty strong standing army. Of course, everything within artillery range from (1)
CirB
the border would be turned into rubble, including the entirety of Seoul, so the human cost would be enormous. (2/2)

I honestly just don't wanna get nuked,I got enough shit to deal with
pandaboo
Don't we all
CigaretteMan
On the other hand, if you do get nuked, you won't have to deal with any of that.

Consider the following. It's widely known that North Korea can't put a nuke on a missle to make it to America. What is America eager 1 / 2
raider111111
to engage in war puts one of their nukes into a shipping container and have it go off in Houston. This would create public support 2/3
raider111111
for war is North Korea. Who knows, but this would work.
