Chester the Molester was a "comic strip" character from Hustler magazine, who was a middle-aged pedophile, that went around molesting women and primarily young girls.
The "Chester The Molester" comic poked fun at these antics.

Back in the day sexual molesters and pedophiles were more often than not viewed as "incorrigible scamps" more worthy of a comic strip than real criminal charges... not the vile sex predators they actually are.
Most of the MAGA cult grew up identifying with that behavior because it wasn't really treated as a serious issue...
MAGAs look at pedophiles like they are not a big deal and going after them is "woke" because most of them are okay with it... it's part of their cultural identity.
The majority of them have been convinced by their celebrity and political icons that this is perfectly normal behavior.
The whole age group that predominantly voted for trump has that mentality.
Expecting most republicans to view trump's disgusting pedophilia as something bad is not a realistic expectation because they only view it as a minor quirk, not a crime.
It's up to everyone who isn't a sick fuck, to stand up and keep hammering away at this issue... it's what got trump snagged by the Russians in 1987 and what keeps him under their control still.
Don't let the Epstein Files fade away like all his other crimes.
Also... in looking up the Wikipedia page for reference, I discovered something I didn't know before... the "cartoonist", Dwaine B. Tinsley, was arrested on May 18, 1989, after being accused by his 18-year-old daughter Allison of molesting her since she was 13 and was found guilty of five counts of child molestation. He was sentenced to six years in prison, but was released in 1992 because the court agreed his 1st amendment right were violated because his comic strip was used as evidence against him.
What the actual fuck.
BTW... The image I used came from an eBay page where someone was selling a framed ad for the comic... I guess for those who like to reminisce about the "Good old days".

The bit about the first amendment came from a day and age where everyone was like: "I may not like what you have to say, but I'll defend to the death, your right to say it"
I had someone point to me that certain types of 'speech', break the social contract, and should NOT get the 1st amendment 'get out of jail' card.
Remember also, this was the day and age of priests molesting kids, and only when the ENTIRE community found out about, would they get...reassigned.
