How would my password help you?

Well. I can then access the jiggawatt switch that will open the gateway for the internet signal.

first ID the problem: does your phone connect to the wifi ok? if yes - problem with computer. if not - problem with router.

No, my phone’s connecting just fine! This is deffo on my computer!

so some steps you could take: try connecting the comp to a phone hotspot and see if that works. if not - reinstalling drivers. 1/2

if not - updating windows. ( other have alreday sugested cable connections ). There also some more complex solutions if all else fails

Turn it off and back on again. Wifi router and laptop

I tried that, but it still doesn’t work. Thanks, though!

Bummer. Try forgetting the wifi then reconnecting? If that doesnt work you could get an ethernet cable and go old school.

I’ll give it a shot again, but I tried that as well and it didn’t work either!

Ur net is down. It happens. Use Ur phone hotspot if it's urgent

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It is not. My phone is connected to the WiFi, it’s working just fine. Just my laptop is having trouble!

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I tried it now and nope, doesn’t work!

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Dang! You’re fucked. Sorry. Maybe you can turn your phone’s wifi hotspot on and use that?

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

No, there has to be another way! I’ve had this problem before. I tried fixing it. I failed, but since I didn’t need my laptop at the time(1)

Looks to me the WiFi adapter disable itself. Try to reinstall or if you're lucky repair the WiFi drivers.

Go to -> start -> type "view network connections". Check status of your WiFi adapter. If it's disables, right mouse click to enable it.

If it still disables after a few seconds, you really need to reinstall or update your drivers....

Thanks for the suggestion! I tried that, but it still doesn’t work!

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

What exactly did you try?

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I tried uninstalling the drivers, then restarted the laptop to let it install them again. I tried restarting both the WiFi and my laptop. (1

Oh, and i forgot to mention, I checked if the adapter is connected to the WiFi. It isn’t. Troubleshooting gave me the option to connect it
