You can also just use a very, very small amount of Dawn soap, wiped on with a dry towel, and *almost* wiped away. Works in a pinch.

Glasses fog when you go from somewhere cold to somewhere warm. Which means you want to warm up the lenses quicker. IR is perfect for this.
