Sometimes, but only when R2 was stationary. The only controls he had were to make R2 do the back and forth shaking.

TIL! Thanks.

R2 was looking for a bearded man who lived in the desert and helped others with his supernatural powers. I understand his confusion.

Obi wan was a white dude. Should have been obvious on screen.

Sure, but Leia didn't have a lot of time to make the description specific, and how was she supposed to know there was *another* desert prophet running around? She'd never even been to Tatooine!

Maybe R2D2 was only familiar with Norwegian Jesus from the paintings in American church basements. We weren't very religious, but I was exposed to that depiction of Jesus and Charlton Heston as Moses so it wasn't until I took a world history course in school that I realized thats not what they looked like.

Beats myrrh... I'm told its bitter. Much rather have the death star plans and I'm sure Jesus would agree.

Hell yeah, get to build a death star.

Just one small change the beam will form from a cross instead of the classic dish beam canon we are all familiar with.

Isn't Myrrh supposed to be burned at funerals?

Originally gathered on the beards of goats. Why beards are symbol of wisdom. Also why Pharoahs had those besrd extensions. Use as a sacred incense and trade good.

It’s a balm. (What you giving him a balm for? It might bite him!)

Myrrh has been used for medicines like mouthwashes, toothache pain, a salve, ritual incense, and perfumes.

Frankincense was also used as ritual incense and perfume, and also during mummification to cleanse body cavities.
