The dry ice I've gotten with frozen shipments left a lot of condensation on my counter with it melting in the kitchen sink. I'll eventually try some smoke machine.
That wasnt the dry ice leaving it, that was moisture from the air condensating on a surface that was below the dew point. If the dry ice isnt directly cooling something the fog from it shouldnt make anything wet. Little tray off the the side or something.
Best of luck, I wouldn't use it anywhere you can't wash with soap and water. Dry ice you can usually contain the condensation to the vessel its in. For table smoke on photo shoots I used to cool actual smoke, or put dry ice in a thermos

only use dry ice in well ventilated places. Even small amount of dry ice will expand to large amount of carbon dioxide
