I'm posting this because people seem to have had trouble signing up.

If you really like the game, you can pre-order now and get a few days early access before worldwide launch and some mostly cosmetic in-game items.

Nice, OP. Yes, chocobos CAN be named, but you only obtain them through a Grand company at Lv. 20 with 1k GC Seals.

Not sure what GC seals are, but sounds awesome. I have had that dream of riding Original Recipe into battle since Final Fantasy XI.

GC stands for Grand Company seals. Part of the storyline asks you to join a Grand Company. Tasks within the GC earns you seals. >>>

And you need 1,000 Seals, I believe to obtain a chocobo whistle.

I haven't tried it yet. I'm very excited, though. I am not sure I can get to lv. 20 in just 2½ days anyway. But the videos look so good.

if you play 24 hours starting now AND know how to pass the majority of your battles, you ought to get to the last Lv. 20 mission you can >>>

get in about a day and a half. It took me roughly that amount of time playing as a DPS Lancer.
