Great post @OP! Been lucky enough to see Iron Maiden, KISS, Alice Cooper, Thin Lizzy & Gillan era Black Sabbath live. Best of the bunch was definitely Thin Lizzy, such an underrated band. Phil Lynott was a phenomenal front man.

I knew it looked familiar, but it must have been 89/90 when I watched it. I did actually pick up on the whole Heavy Metal / Fifth Element thing regarding the Taxi scene when I watched the film.
