Those guys were god in the days. No photoshop and shit, only pure paint, pencils and rulers. No undos unless you really want to start over.

Acrylic & oils can be undone (painted over). Ink, pastels, & watercolor, not so much. Still, lots of sketching to plan stuff out first.
