@OP I was also told Kamala Harris was a better candidate than Joe Biden.

Yes. Where did their vigor in the face of fascism go?

Jesus H christ. Can we get at least one, just ONE of these Facebook-esque meme images that doesn't have a fucking typo?? The messages are usually good.... Why can't we just have one with proper punctuation or grammar? As a treat. To show whoever made it gave enough of a fuck to read it once more.

Welcome to the *propaganda* machine. Now, you need to think for yourself. Start slowly...

His plan backfired on him. He was so certain we would pick up guns & retaliate. Well, orange twat face, you managed to pull some of the population together instead... If failure is truly the best teacher, he should be a genius by now

Thank you!!!!!

Because they were all paid by George Soros just to show up.

4 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Well, obviously, the protest was only 3 or 4 people and the left leaning media have exaggerated the numbers.

There were definitely arrests and violence. Vegas had 6 arrests, a few were battery and throwing rocks. Havasu had a car like, lunging at these senior citizens instead of stopping. They're trying to get police to do something about that. It was overwhelmingly peaceful though.

4 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

what are you talking about? ... they kicked an ICE officer multiple times in the head and knocked him unconcious ... there is a full video about this

J6 insurrections assaulting capitol police & vandalizing the capitol = "tOuRiStS"
Peaceful protesters = "RaDiCaL eXtReMiStS"

Don't worry, Fox News almost certainly claimed it was simultaneously a) nonexistent and under attented b) funded by EVIL RICH LIBERALS and c) a vicious and violent riot where they burned things down and stole everything in sight

4 months ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 2

you were misinformed.

4 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

They're all paid crisis actors, just don't think too hard about why you didn't see the advertisements for the jobs as surely to get that many people they'd need a fuckton of ads just everywhere...

It's not in their interests to cause violence and more importantly it's not in the other side's interest either: this little Saturday stroll gives these people a good feeling, and achieves nothing. A 1 day protest like this of any size does nothing. Now, if this was let's say on a Monday, of even better a few days of a few weeks the police would be rushing it in tanks. Because a proper protest with economical impact would be worth the controversy of hurting hundreds and probably killing some

4 months ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

So little in the news about it also. It feels so hidden in plain sight.

Meanwhile Jan 6ers are suing the capitol police for being too aggressive.

4 months ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

There was one dude who dressed as an Ice pig and tried to harass protesters. He got his ass beat. But I would argue that self defense isn't violence.

4 months ago | Likes 20 Dislikes 3

Yeah I saw that video. I dont think it was at a no kings rally. From what I read hes known in the area and is a provocateur. Constantly dressing as an ICE agent. Seems like self defense if someone is impersonating an officer.

TBH there being no violence is, in a way, more worrisome. For protest to work it needs to have threat backing it up. It's not just that there's a bunch of people, it's that there's a bunch of people with the implied threat of 'if we all try to get you, you're fucked.'

Truly and strictly peaceful protest will just get laughed down by facist subhumans.

Nice try, officer

I sadly agree. The day after Trump's inauguration in 2017, an estimated 400,000 people participated in a Women's March on washington. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2017_Women%27s_March#Participation Trump actually sneered at it. Basically, since they weren't threatening him or others, he indicated they could march all they wanted and it wasn't going to change anything.

4 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

So it's very impressive, but I also feel like it will blunt any possible effects. "Nah we don't have to care about this shit lol, they're all pacifists."

4 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 8

No, it doesn't work that way. (I mean the Repugnants are dumb enough they may think it does but still.) A protest doesn't need the threat of force to back it up to be effective, the only purpose a threat of force does is justify the suppression of it by the ones being protested against.

No. A peaceful protest of this scale is far more dangerous than a violent one. Because people who aren't blinkered morons (like the current US admin) know there comes a point where peace stops.

4 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 2

The people being protested against only respond to and believe in force. Nothing will result through anything that is not force. These protests would ultimately be useful as rallying events similar to mustering an army that might then get things done, but the protests themselves? Zero effect.

4 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

There's other effects that happen than just the implied threat. Protests in general are best considered as an emotional influencing event, and they do so to different people in various ways. While there is the idea of fear from implied threat, there is also solidarity and support that pushes those with potential power to align with and try harder at what they are attempting to do, knowing that they are backed up in a way that limits their perceived risk.

There is no such thing as an effective, truly peaceful protest against the sort of threat the US is facing for Trump. There is either economic violence (trade disruption, boycotts), or the implied threat of violence ('what if we weren't so peaceful?')

Like what, you think he's gonna see it and be like 'aw man all these people don't like me, maybe I SHOULD change.'

It's almost as though the far-right outrage machine is perpetually full of shit and just makes shit up.

What else can you do if reality makes you look that bad? Change your ways?

4 months ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Yep. It's here in Canada too. They literally swing from "The CBC is owned by the Liberal government!" to "Carney is cutting back the amount of money the CBC gets because it tells the truth about him!" Like, sometimes in the same argument.

4 months ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

They will say that the news is being controlled by the left, and that the police were ordered to not arrest anyone breaking the law hence no 'arrests' made. I saw one twit last time saying 'No arrests at the NYC rally? Wait til night falls... '

Right. The Ellisons are just a couple of lefties.

Which really is insane when all the major media is now owned by Maga

Imagine the power that the left has to be able to suppress all the YouTube and phone footage recorded by people of the carnage?

You should verify what you hear rather than just repeating it. From what I can find on Google, it was failure to disperse.

You can use Google to find journalistic resources, like this - https://www.latimes.com/california/story/2026-03-29/demonstrators-arrested-tear-gassed-at-no-kings-protest
