My neighbor has two of these dogs. They are the sweetest little spazzes in the world. Whenever I see them out I have to go outside and say hello. Instant happiness as they charge towards me.
It will never not surprise me how you can take 10 different dogs into that aisle and each one could walk over to a completely different toy and have a completely different preference. There is really so much we don't know about them.
In my house that's called a 20 second toy. That's how long my doggo would take to tear it to bits. She loves rope toys and they're the only toys that last longer than a few minutes. She's a labrador staffy cross I rescued before I got sick. She was being used as a bait dog. She has the best temperament. I don't understand humans, we are total dicks.
Our beagle is the same, instantly tries to shear through her toys with her back teeth. Bought a few from a brand called "animal instincts", and they've held up really well!
We had a rescue bichon that was a stud dog at a puppy mill for 9 years, only toy he would play with (as long as only other dogs were around and not people) was one you put an empty plastic bottle in for him to crunch on. We actually had to sew it shut because he kept ripping it open to get the bottle out
Mine hates toys but every 10 months or so I'll wake up and find a soft toy in her bed (she normally ignores the toy basket we have for visiting dogs). Once I found a Christmas ornament of a soft small knitted "ugly" sweater in her bed and she was laying delicately on top of it. She had to have taken it off the tree herself, and she clearly was very gentle with it. <3
Yep, I used to pup sit my former boss who had a weimaraner, GSP and a Vizsla, and by far the Vizsla was the more affectionate of the dogs. The chihuahua tolerated me for my body warmth.
My dog loves his pink elephant... but he throws it and it ends up behind something and sometimes I don't notice... and then weeks later he acts like he gets a new toy.
Yup. My girl loovvveeesss these, but they last about 20min with her. I still treat her to new one every now and then, but defo full supervision play time!
My boy does that with his toys under the couch so much we have to leave it with the foot rests popped up permanently because he scratches the front so much doing it

Smart, and adds the tail wag to show its a "I need assistance please" cry, not a "something is wrong here", or that the other very old dog has taken her toy.
She gets deducted 1 point for being too smart for her own good. Is part cattle dog and despite being very well trained, still have to have child locks on everything. But plus 1 point for keeping me on my toes!
I LOVE viszlas but only adopt shelter dogs so my chances are pretty slim. P.s. not shaming anyone at all who responsibly purchases a pure breed dog. All dogs are good dogs :)
Same idk if i will ever have another viszla of my own as every dog my wife and i get comes from saving paws now but my 1st 2 dogs growing up where viszla. My brother has a viszla still though and its always fun when she stops by to play
What kind of dogs do you have now? I've got a very elderly border collie x Labrador and a 10yo cattle dog x staffie. Miss the days when they could run for miles with me.

And a 4 year border collie mix named dash with long legs who hits mach 20 everytime someone throws a tenis ball
