#5 men of the past wore cosmetics, high heels and spent plenty of time writing poems and attending plays and operas. Perhaps you’re just

How could I? Or the impressively large wigs

#5 this is for people who just think about the past and never look into the matter.

I let my hair grow a few years back (on final measurement 18") for charity. Whilst out shopping, some Karen decided it was her duty to /1

#8 I'm like... 99% sure I saw that on Facebook as an antivax post

4 years ago | Likes 163 Dislikes 5

Don’t trust the government. I’m fully vaxed and boosted, and so far left I make Chomsky look like Trump. But still! Don’t trust em!

To be fair, I have no idea what current CDC guidelines are and will continue to wear a mask as long as I fucking feel like it.

4 years ago | Likes 32 Dislikes 1

Yeah, there are a few like that. I downvoted to be safe

And the lion one, big boomer energy there.

No thanks.

#5, both are lions and both will eat your face. what's the issue?

4 years ago | Likes 40 Dislikes 2

Male lions don’t do shit in the pride anyway. They just eat and pro-create. The lionesses are the ones protecting the territory and hunting.

I thought their territory was everywhere the light touches.

#3 you gotta have one hand to shut the trunk then open the door to your house.

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

#3 ...and the keys, that hand needs to conserve energy and dexterity!

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

#13 Boomer bomb shelter too. For this late-ish boomer anyway, b. 1957.

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

*Boomer bomb shelter. Gen x got the millenial trial version, no desk diving.

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

#15 TBF, they did ask her to tell her story.

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Holy crud. Best dump I've seen in ages. Double upvote

#19 had that conversation with a patient, except I was asking drinks/day. Patient answered 3-4, I echoed 3-4 glasses of wine a day

4 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

thinking to myself "that's a lot", patient corrected me, no 3-4 bottles of wine a day.

4 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

So that's a lot of wine but what about 25+ shots a day, but you drink a lot of water?

4 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

That makes you a well hydrated drunk. Your liver can't metabolize that much alcohol.

4 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Okay, how much can you metabolize and what does it do with the excess? Asking for a friend.

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Your body can metabolize, about a shot an hour, the excess builds up and continues to circulate and poison your brain.

#2 I WANT a new dishwasher, but it isn't BAD enough that I NEED one. Also, I HATE how dishwashers are now. Plus they're hella expensive now

4 years ago | Likes 67 Dislikes 2

Yea, imagine winning free time for free! I'd cum so hard for a dishwasher.

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Do dishwashers come with tv screens on them now?

4 years ago | Likes 18 Dislikes 0

Some of them come with windows and it's so stupid but I kinda want

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

No, but if they did they would be critical to the operation and fail after the warranty expires.

4 years ago | Likes 27 Dislikes 0

are you KIDDING? They fail BEFORE the warranty expires, the company just comes up with a way to deny the claim!

Our energy company has an insurance plan. Has saved us so much hassle. Covers repairs and replacements. New DW, water heater, furnace

4 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

And all service calls are free, even off hours or holidays

4 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

I also choose this person’s power company

4 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Minnesota Energy Resources. Can get the insurance even if they aren't supplying you with energy as long as you live in MN

Go to a Lowe's outlet or a Sears/American freight outlet! I just got a $1600 fridge (home Depot price) for $660 with minor supertiny dents.

4 years ago | Likes 25 Dislikes 0

I do this with every major appliance and electronic device. My last TV was open box for 500 bux off of a new one and then another 1/

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

100 bux off because it had a cosmetic scratch on the edge that wasn't even on the screen.

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

This. I needed a stove and got a WAY better one that had two small dents on the back for what I was going to pay for the basic one

4 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

I just spent 2k on a Kirby vacuum. At least they are supposed to last a lifetime. Let's find out if it's a scam.

4 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Don’t die

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

My parents had one that lasted for 30ish years. Heavy as lead but immensely reliable. I hope they're still that good.

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

The old ones did, not sure on new ones. This is how it's more $$ to be poor. Can't afford to buy the good stuff that lasts.

4 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

My old Kenmore lasted 30+ years, and three of thise (a lifetime) would be about $500. Though I doubt new ones still have that reliability.
