Sadly, even if it did happen, nothing would change. It's a systemic problem within, not just the Republican party, but the US population. They voted for this, not because he would help them, but because he would hurt the "libs." They have been conditioned to want that thanks to right wing media and news for decades. To them it is better to burn down the place as a way to hurt the opposition, even if you burn yourself too, and they still consider it a win. It's bonkers.
