I am so incredibly lucky to be able to see this from the comfort of my home. This is our last year in Alaska, at least for now. So get ready to get sick of me posting these.

I never know what speed the aurora flows at. Could be a standing wave or fluid motion for all I know

Best is if it’s quite outside & a noisy aurora. Northern lights was so common where I grew up, so I didn’t understand what all the fuss was about 😅

If you head out toward Eielson it gets nice and dark. There’s some good spots to see it
