These are just some excerpts from the document just released. Clearly, the Trump administration can't help but lie about so much... but they have now codified into an "official strategy" a manifesto that basically includes their authority to assault and ELIMINATE anyone they deem to be "anti-American." And that includes being for LGBTQ rights (because "transgender" is their label for all of it), or being against fascism. "Antifa" is simply the position of being against fascists. And the Trump administration is fascist. Also, notice the word "secular" inserted, concerning political groups. This administration is radical Christian Nationalist and they consider criticism of any Christian group as an assault. But it's OK for Christian political groups to be violent.
This wasn't written by Trump, of course. Sebastian Gorka, the White House Counterterrorism "czar" was no doubt the lead author on this, and I'm sure Stephen Miller contributed as well.
Sebastian Gorka. You don't see much of him these days. He was out front in center for Trump in his 1st term and got a staff position, but was later kicked out because he made a mess of things. And then he reinserted himself towards the end, participating in the plot to steal the 2020 election. His "stealth" skills allowed him to slip away from any accountability. But in Trump's 2nd term, he's back, appointed to be a "czar" for counterterrorism. No doubt he has been behind a lot of what DHS has done domestically.

Like so much of this, it's meant to apply a chilling effect, it's not remotely legal, for a host of reasons, and, given it makes around...70-240 million americans terrorists, it's simply not practical from a logistical standpoint. They aren't going to go around rounding people up, but they ARE hoping it'll scare people into silence and compliance. That it'll stop protests and people speaking out. Don't let them scare you, tell them to eat your entire asshole instead.

At some point they really will go after their political opposition. They keep calling us terrorists, but at some point they will actively start coming after people who do not share their views. It will start by calling us bad guys and getting us fired from our jobs. Then jail... Which will be great for the prison system / sheriffs association because they get $$$ for each warm body locked up. I know I sound crazy...

they'll try, but we outnumber them by orders of magnitude. They can pick off stragglers and make an example of a handful, but they have nowhere near the numbers to actually jail their opposition en masse. You can jail a few hundred thousand in a massive crackdown, you can't jail 70-240 million people. The point is to scare people into silence and compliance, they know they can't actually follow through on their threats, especially something this trivial.

I was out there warning that Trump would be a harbinger of fascism for the USA, in his run for the 1st term. Clinton warned about him as well, particularly his proclivity for lying.
I was out there warning Trump would DEFINITELY be a fascist danger for his 2nd term... But the Imgur community cried "Gaza Genocide Joe!" So many people saying they couldn't vote for that. Laughable. Trump is far worse. FAR WORSE. Fuck those people.
