Not really. He was born Bruce Wayne and adopted the Batman persona. Superman was born Superman and adopted the Clark Kent persona.

There is way less of Bruce Wayne in Batman than Clark Kent in Superman. Bruce Wayne is entirely different; Kent is a toned-down facade.

How much we see of each character isn't the point. It's the point that Clark Kent or Batman didn't exist until they were fabricated.

The thing that bothers me though is that Stark doesn't hide the fact that he is Ironman. He's the same person, with our without the suit.
