The City of Collinsville understands the holiday spirit.

FP edit: If you simp for Massive corporations, get fucked.

Walmart will literally lobby a town that won't allow it to build a Walmart for a decade and finally after getting approval to put a Walmart in after a few years completely destroy all the local businesses and the town then literally abandon the Walmart there once it's no longer profitable. There are 100s of abandoned Walmarts all over the country that could easily be turned into shelters or housing but Walmart still owns them or pays the leases and it's more profitable to keep them empty and they won't give up the spots.

Obama's going to lock us up in those empty WalMarts. Or so some redneck told me in 2014.

Also remember: if you see someone shoplifting from Walmart, no you didn't.

If you can buy from anyone but Amazon please do that. Times are tough but don't sell your soul for free shipping

I'm trying to gently get my family on board with that. So far no luck.

Used to live in Collinsville. The video store we used to rent from was right down the road from the big bottle. I'd suggest a visit to Cahokia Mounds nearby, especially now that the museum/visitor center is open.
