Most Christians don't hold their beliefs because of rational arguments, so pointing out that they're irrational doesn't have much impact. They just move on to the next talking point on the list, or invoke faith as justification.
If you admit that your belief is based entirely on your own comfort and gullibility, no amount of evidence is going to change your mind.
If people are fighting and hit a pregnant woman and she gives birth prematurely but there is no serious injury, the offender must be fined whatever the woman’s husband demands and the court allows.
I once pointed out here some things in Leviticus that are not followed today and someone responded with "that's in the Jewish part of the Bible. We don't care about that!" To which I replied "so are the Ten Commandments". They do love to cherry-pick what to believe.
I pretty regularly point out the Old Testament was the Hebrew bible. It wasn’t me though because in knowing that I would also know the commandments we also the old deal. Jesus came along with some woke bullshit power hated, and that’s why they killed him.
