While we all giggle, he counts his billions. Doesn't mean a thing to him

It would be very sad if the Saudis that financed this Khashoggi him.

Time for him to make a big fuss about suing Fidelity for """defamation""".

Doesn't matter to Musk. He didn't buy Twitter to make money he bought twitter, and the billionaires that assisted him, bought Twitter to manipulate the election to help Trump get elected and thus continue to save billions in taxes and save even more with the new tax cuts Trump proposes.
The stand to gain way way way way more than losing 30 billion dollars in one go.

Next up: Elon sues them for saying the value is lower than he bought it.

Twitter is in the Xitter.

I don't like the guy, but not because he murdered twitter. That was just a happy little side quest. Good job on that one.

Turns out billionaire genius mode has a few glitches. Who knew buying a social media platform could be more complicated than rocket science? Elon's midlife crisis is getting expensive.

Hahahaha

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

It wasn't worth what he paid for it at the time.

2 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 1

In all fairness, he did overpay by like 400%. Hahahahahhahahahahahaha.

*masterful*

He bought twitter to control the content…not to make money.

I'm reminded of a quote from Ricki Tarr in Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy, "Everything the Circus [fanboys] thinks is gold is shit made in Moscow."

Nooo, this is all part of his 5D chess. This year he said X would become an indispensable financial platform worth $250 billion. You're just too dumb to understand his genius /s

He can write it off, sadly.

auctioneer : Do I here 100...come on folks...it's for a good cause...can we go 100...

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

It's still worth 10billion (10,000,000,000). Would you like ten billion?

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

wasnt it like not worth what he paid for it in the first place. i remember he had to pay three times its worth because he was a loud mouth moron and the courts forced him to follow through on his bullshit? i dont remember exactly

Kind of.

He had it valued, he made an offer at that price and began the process of sale.

However, news of the sale led to significant backlash, a drop in users and a negative response from advertisers. An updated valuation with this information suggested that the value would decline even further if Musk went through with the purchase.
So he tried to pull out, but he had already gone too far in the process and stopping now would punish Twitter's old ownership structure, so he was forced to pay.

Almost like advertisers have abandoned the platform or something. So weird.

Republican simps apply the same "but he's a businessman, he knows how to run things" gullible energy applied to GW Bush and Trump.

Go anti-woke, go broke.

Go fash, no cash

2 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 1

It's not even "anti-woke." I don't consider democratic values or basic human decency to be woke.

He's turned it into a breeding ground of white supremacist, nazi, and fascist ideologies.

He didn't buy it to make money, he bought it to affect politics and society with his vision of utopia

2 years ago | Likes 284 Dislikes 2

Or bought it for benefactors to disrupt organizating against oppression

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It's probably aalso a taax write off somehow.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

And free speech… don’t forget free speech. 🙄

This was the first step. Once his starlink network is complete he will detonate all the Tesla batteries and begin his reign of global domination with an army of neurochip soldiers

he failed at both.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 3

He bought it to try and boost NFTs and Crypto, when that started to collapse he tried to pull out of a deal and was forced into it

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

He bought it because he got high and signed a deal then tried to back out of it until even his lawyers told him he was gonna lose.
