He slows down by about 1000% when I play Mumford & Sons.

12 years ago | Likes 97 Dislikes 3

That might be because mumford and sons became shit after their first album.

12 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 28

you kidding? Babel was amazing.

12 years ago | Likes 19 Dislikes 4

I honestly thought it was a shitty album, but I can't really tell why I just hate it sooo much... I guess a lot of people would disagree :P

12 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Let's be honest here, any Daft Punk song would work perfectly.

12 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Veridis Quo, Emotion, and Beyond don't...

12 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Technologic works really well if you time it right.

12 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Around The World also works (somewhat)

12 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

same with blood, sex, and booze by greenday :D

12 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Doin' It Right does not :(

12 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Too slow. Can find remixes where it's more danceable though!

12 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Burnin'/Too Long from Alive 2007. Just say'n.

12 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

This is not working well for when I put "Mad World" by Gary Jules on.

12 years ago | Likes 136 Dislikes 3

Not with that attitude

12 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Man, you made me sad. This song reminds me of my friend up in heaven.

12 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Love this song so very very much.

12 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

that's because the proper version is by Tears for Fears

12 years ago | Likes 41 Dislikes 3

I love both, but Gary's is better just because it was my and my girlfriend's "song"

12 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

This. So much this. (Might be a topic I'm overly passionate about.)

12 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

Wow, I had no idea the Gary Jules version wasn't the original.

12 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

This goes well with "in the aaaarms off the angelll"

12 years ago | Likes 60 Dislikes 0

I just clicked randomly in my spotify and brought up Big Church [Megszentségteleníthetetlenségeskedéseitekért] by Sunn O))). Doesn't fit.

12 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Cleary not. Simone Simons' voice doesn't fit on this at all. Mark Jansen would agree to me.

12 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It might not be your language, but.. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8C3bs1E5eeY fits pretty good I think.

12 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Doesn't go so well with Edith Piaf.

12 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

You heard The Satanist yet? I was gonna buy it on vinyl at my local record shop, but the thing is like 60 dollars. I was mildly disappointed

12 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I like how I mentioned Nile right below this, though I'd consider Behemoth the superior band. :)

I absolutely love the Johny Cash version https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3aF9AJm0RFc

12 years ago | Likes 81 Dislikes 8

I really can't stand Cash's version. I know it's the original and all, but his singing style absolutely kills the mood of the sing.

12 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 5

I guess I'm the only one who feels NIN's version is so much more powerful and real

12 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 2

send chills down mt spine everytime i hear it.

12 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Give the nine inch nails one a try too

12 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 2

The music video is absolutely heart-wrenching.. LOVE YOU JOHNNY

12 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

i always thought that cash's was the original. guess i was wrong, but i still like this version better haha

12 years ago | Likes 31 Dislikes 5

One thing I dislike is that any "naughty words" got replaced with christian imagery. We do not need to christian up everything.

12 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 6

3 years late, but it's more reflecting cash's personal view, combined that with the music video showing things about his life and you'll1/2

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

See cash made it his own, which is a lot more admirable then him repeating lyrics which no meaning to him. It fits him. 2/2

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

if I remember right, the lead singer for NiN likes this one better too.

12 years ago | Likes 20 Dislikes 0

haha that's awesome, and clearly shows his respect and love of music if he can say he likes someone else's cover of his own song. props

12 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

He has gone on record as saying such. It depends on my mood, but I lean towards the Cash version too.

12 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Funny, I prefer the original. One, he wrote it. Two, dem elevated vocals in the chorus. He sounds so pained!

12 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Not only is Trent Reznor the lead singer he is the only member of NiN lol

12 years ago | Likes 22 Dislikes 0

Thank you. The string was bothering me until I read your comment.

12 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Absolute musical powerhouse of a man

12 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

With only a few, minor tweaks, he changes the theme from hopeless to hopeful. I like both versions.

12 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

It's not hopeful at all...it's a man that's lived his life and seen all his friends die.

12 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

Uhh, its still pretty much the definition of hopelessness...

12 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I disagree. The end of Cash's version feels hopeful to me, if wistful or sad-tinged. Reznor's, on the other hand, is crushingly hopeless.

12 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That's because he's about to die and its the only way he can figure out to stop disappointing people...

12 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0
