Wow! So many memories :)

It uses the same port as Sega Genesis gamepad. I had that mouse on my Atari 520ST/FM

5 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Doesn't matter the "design" Elon-fanboys will throw money at it and then will say thank you

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I actually much prefer this mouse design to many of the flashy or boring modern mice design

5 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

I had one…

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Me too. In fact, I'm now wondering if I still have one.

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I can hear this picture

5 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 0

Upvoted just because that was the first computer mouse I ever interacted with (my father had an Atari ST when I was born).

*And* he’s a mouse.

5 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Lol remember when it was cool to have one of em new fangled lazer mice

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I had two of those Atari st computers. First music workstation as it. And with built in Midi ports

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I would drive this

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Is this an exclusive pic of the redesigned Tesla Cybertruck??

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Did Atari have a computer with a mouse?

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Googled it. The Atari ST.

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

You can tell it's an electric car because you can see the cable.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

hey i still have that thing in a cupboard in my basement ... with the mega st4 comuputer ... i should really check if it is worth sth

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Never knew Atari made a mouse

5 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

It's for their 16 and 32 bit line of computers - the ST, TT & Falcon. The line went defunct in the early 90s.

5 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Thanks. Only ever read about the ST, never heard of the TT and never seen one IRL. my first computer was an 8088 XT

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

what is this, 2019?!

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

The sign is upside down

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

hell yeah i am THIS old..... ATARI 800XL and 520ST....

5 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 0

I miss my 1040!

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Judging by the color of it, it's probably from a Atari Falcon or whatever they were called.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Yep, 520ST.

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I remember needing to unplug it from the stupidly unergonomic port every time two joysticks were needed. The bad old days.

5 years ago | Likes 21 Dislikes 0

My rose coloured glasses recall plugging in to mice and playing vs in lemmings. Was worth the effort of dealing with the hidden plugs.

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

An unergonomic port, you say? What on earth were you doing with the PS/2, or maybe serial?

5 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

The ST's joystick (one of which was the mouse port) ports were in a tight cut out under the machine.

5 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

TIL! thx!

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

as you can see, not much room to get your fingers in there!

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Ahhhhh, I remember those old connectors now! I do remember pulling out an Atari from a basement box when I was younger. Sigh, long ago.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Get outta here you Atari low life... AMIGA FOR LIFE!

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 4

I BEG your pardon?!

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

You heard

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Pffff, Atari ST master race!

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Sir... please.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

How quaint. Hello computer.

5 years ago | Likes 51 Dislikes 0

Transparent aluminum.......

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Manuel, relay instructions.

5 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Funny story. Mum once got a computer mouse but with the big ball in the centre that you roll to scroll around.

5 years ago | Likes 171 Dislikes 5

A trackball?

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I've owned more of those than you have had birthdays

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

A trackball?

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Trackballs are the fucking best

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Trackball? I remember one of the first laptops I ever saw had a handheld trackball like a wiimote nunchuk but with a ball instead of stick.

5 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Well, she probably bought that was convenient for her.

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I just got a Logitech TrackMan Marble yesterday.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I have several by my desk ready for use.

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Trackballs are common on CAD machines, very good for precision movement.

5 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 0

Also very good for differently abled people.

5 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 2

Oi have 2 Microsoft trackballs. They rock.

5 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 1

No. They roll

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Had a mate who would play Unreal Tournament - quite successfully - using one of those.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I had a friend who played games with his thumb-trackball mouse. Never occurred to me how awful that must've been.

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

I knew a guy who used trackballs for gaming. Spectated him playing bf4 he was really fucking good with it.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I use one. It's quite nice actually. It's a matter of preference

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

It's great. Also helps my cubital tunnel

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Trackball? I hate those things

5 years ago | Likes 19 Dislikes 8

My carpal tunnel loves'em. Btw, head shots all day long.

5 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

That’s the one! Trackball.

5 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 0

A trackball. I play video gemes using a modern trackball. I can link you my Twitch stream if you don't believe me.

5 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Does it work well?

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It does once you build up the muscle memory for it. I use it for practical health issues but I'm on par with other decent players in FPS's

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

https://twitch.tv/Video_Game_Bastard I'll be streamig in about an hour.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Dad told my brother it’s for blind people. So my brother closed his eyes and rolled it around. And then said it didn’t work.

5 years ago | Likes 135 Dislikes 1

It's for limited space and mobility, but I find that pretty funny myself. :D

5 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 1

It reminds me of my little brother and the way my dad would answer silly questions when he had them. Lol

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

My mum peed her pants from laughing. Brother was not impressed.

5 years ago | Likes 93 Dislikes 0

Hilarious

5 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

Are you a child?

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 50

What’s your damage?

5 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 0

Ex-child, I assume.

5 years ago | Likes 34 Dislikes 0

Aren't we all, in some way.

5 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

5 years ago | Likes 25 Dislikes 0

Logitech M570, Logitech Trackman, don't know the Kensington.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Perfect for business trips, when you can't use a desk but your leg!

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Team Center!

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I had the one on the left for so long.

5 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

If it ain’t the one in the middle you aren’t a real one

5 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

I still use the one in the middle, and have 3 more in boxes for when it finally dies. Never giving up my adesso trackballs.

5 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Just curious: do you use the ball with your thumb or index finger?

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

No. I use my middle and ring fingers mostly to drive the ball. Depending on the action I may roll it a bit with my index or pinky, but /

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

mostly just the middle&ring. It sounds awkward I know but it's super comfortable and I hate using a mouse in general. I have a "normal" /

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Oh, the hard-boiled egg yolk?

5 years ago | Likes 37 Dislikes 0

Nah

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

nah it's like a thing you move with your thumb instead of moving the whole mouse around.

5 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

Trackball.

5 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

Imagine a red golf ball attached to the side of a mouse like a tumor.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

it always was red....never saw a not red one...with thin black "webbing" design on it

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I don't think i could ever get used to one of those

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

They give really great precision, I used one for years to game.

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I use one for work, started after having some carpal tunnel type problems. I actually quite like it.
