#48 kind of sad to be promoting bullying and outing a co worker (polyamory is part of the LGBTQIA+ community for those that aren’t aware). Rudeness does not beget rudeness it only further breeds hostility.
Even if a co worker sucks or is rude we shouldn’t be outing them and possibly putting them in a life endangering position let alone possibly getting them wrongly terminated because they are polyamorous.

Yeah my co-workers were icy towards the new girl bc they were convinced she was a "homewrecker" and I had to explain she's actually in a thruple. Interestingly enough, the thruple respected each other more than the regular couples who treat each other like shit if you ask me.

As someone who is poly I have to say in my experience (I have been in monogamous relationships as well) it’s because good ENM relationships are rooted in communication and constant relationship check ins.
It’s sad that your co worker had to deal with that. Thank you for standing up for them and explaining. Hopefully your other co workers are starting to be more open to other lifestyles or at least open to learn about them.

I remember being DEVASTATED when someone I would half jokingly call my work wife started calling me ("jokingly"? ) a homewrecker because my boyfriend has a wife. Im good friends with my boyfriends wife, we are kitchen table poly. I call my boyfriends wife's boyfriend my meta-in-law.
Hearing her call me that over and over was really demoralizing.

I suspect that might be a pitohui, which is indeed the former. They secrete batrachotoxins in their skin, just like poison dart frogs. I was today years old when I learned about that.
