I thought it was going to fly out of the window. I was disappoint.

The name is Hedwig! Bitch!

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

That is a really bad idea though.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

People trying to mold nature, and an alpha predator like that, to be a part of their stupid ceremony deserve shit like this to happen.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

That's just asking for trouble

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Never ask an owl to pull your finger. —old Irish proverb

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That's why you should have just had a traditional ring bear, none of this would have happened...

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Wrong? Sorry where?

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I always thought it would be funny to get a couple of kids dressed as Frodo and Sam to bring in the rings.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

The bird seemed pretty calm. It didn’t attack the bystander. Just landed on him.

8 years ago | Likes 345 Dislikes 2

Yeah, pretty obvious the person spazzed out, not the owl. He stuck his arm out so the owl was all..Ok, here next, sure.

8 years ago | Likes 88 Dislikes 0

Yep. Owl is trained to go when someone holds out their arm and points.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

White people

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Revelant user name.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Get some drugged up milk in there and you will have a real party.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I'm no expert but the dude held his hand out like it was a perch. Just my guess

8 years ago | Likes 145 Dislikes 0

exactly what happened. "fly to the arm, ok here i go! oh, another arm, ok here i g-- WHAT ARE YOU DOING I CAN'T LAND WHEN YOU FLAIL ABOUT!"

8 years ago | Likes 19 Dislikes 0

People do the stupidest shit at weddings

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

That is why it is rude to point.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Let's have a natural predator with talons and pointy beak in a room crowded with friends and family... what could possibly go wrong?

8 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

What a stupid piece of s... Who does this. Fukin morons

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I did, it was fantastic and hilarious. What's your problem with it? I'm not a slave to tradition, it was cheap and weird.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

We had a hawk fly our ring in and I just want to say to all the shitty little party poopers: we know it's pretentious and over the top. 1/

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

That's the whole point. You figured it out genius. P.S. it was awesome as hell and I'd do it again. Came this close to having 2/

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Peacocks strutting all over the fucking place so choke on it.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

God I love white people

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

And then at the end it starts shitting everywhere, awesome

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Isn't that notmal at weddings?

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Should’ve gotten a ring bear.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Alternatively, they really didn't like that one person and it was an "accident".

8 years ago | Likes 44 Dislikes 1

this was in the news. It was funny. I laughed. That is all

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Whose idea was this? The bird was probably terrified.

8 years ago | Likes 95 Dislikes 9

No, the bird was just flying to the guy in the front that was pointing to it.

8 years ago | Likes 23 Dislikes 0

The bird is calm. It was just flying to an outstretched hand and kinda mussed it up when the arm withdrew. Bird is, at worst, confused.

White People

8 years ago | Likes 30 Dislikes 29

As a white person, this is accurate.

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 2

White person here, these people are fucking idiots.

8 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 0

Not all white people die in hot air balloon accidents but only white people die in hot air balloon accidents

Reminds me of "not all people who have mustaches are pedophiles, but all people who are pedophiles have mustaches."

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I'm sorry dude in the audience clearly pointed and posted arm owl thought he was supposed to fly over there. Also those people would 1/2

8 years ago | Likes 972 Dislikes 5

Really surprised they didn't warn people about how owls work. Especially those in the front row? Poor planning from top to bottom

8 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 0

Lose the owl if I'd been there and it flew to me. Adorable yet vicious new pet...yes please! Also owls at weddings are stupid.

8 years ago | Likes 519 Dislikes 12

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Yeah I would definitely not be laughing if an owl were that close to my small human child.

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Well, you covered everything. Guess I'll be going now.

8 years ago | Likes 110 Dislikes 1

Beautiful username, but you had better not be the original in disguise

8 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 0

Nope. I know people wonder though. I'm just here to confirm nips and to not let the story of that pervert die.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

HIS FAVORITES AREN’T FULL OF WOMAN BUTTS, HE’S GOOD.

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Ooooor, he's learning!

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Owl weddings are just fine thank you very much! It's human weddings that have an insane divorce rate.

8 years ago | Likes 161 Dislikes 5

I hear owl weddings are a hoot.

8 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 0

Take the +1 for a hearty chuckle at a cheesy joke!

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Good point!

8 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 0

I have never officiated an Owl wedding. I have officiated for a Cat, Dog, & even a fish wedding for a dear friend of mine. New goal.

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

what about your deer friends?

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Now what's the requirement to get ordained?

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

You can always get ordained over the internet if you want to officiate your friends wedding. Otherwise it's a little complicated 1/?

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

So in short it's all about how serious you are about it & what you ultimately want to do & get out of it. Hope that helps at least a bit 3/3

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

It does, thanks.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Complicated but ultimately down to the church you want to go through, most require allot of classes & shadowing a Minister 2/?

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

What an absurdly idiotic idea.

8 years ago | Likes 679 Dislikes 12

The Harry Potter generation has reached marriageable age

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

I grew up with the books. I've been able to marry for 12 years.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

This is the kind of shit white people do for Instagram likes.

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 2

My wife photographed a wedding where the bird (owl?) just flew into the rafters. They couldn’t get it down until the next day. The handler—

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

returned the ring to them after their honeymoon lol...

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

So a better way to do that is to have the bird deliver a fake ring to the best man, who then presents the real ring that he's palmed.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That way if the bird fucks off and drops the package in a lake, you don't lose thousands of dollars in jewelry.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It was fine until that jackass pointed a foot away from it and then fell over like an idiot.

8 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 2

Or until some genius decided an owl was to be a part of the ceremony.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

Nah, the pointing dude falling over caused more of a raucous than the owl. Owl's just like you want me to land here?

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

How dare you offend our Owl based wedding. v

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Owl be the judge of that!

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Been to a wedding with an owl and a hawk. It was about as pretentious as it gets.

8 years ago | Likes 49 Dislikes 2

What's the point? They could never have an egg together.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Adam & Eve not Hedwig & Mordechai!

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

They probably met at Hooters

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

white people. Specifically rich white people.

8 years ago | Likes 17 Dislikes 23

Oh shit I forgot to put /s. I don't actually think white people are like this I just wanted to do satire. I kinda cucked myself there.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Do white people also make "white people" comment to other white people?

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

All the time.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I had an owl as my ring bearer and I'm poor. So your statement is incorrect

8 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 1

Poor in taste indeed

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 2

Poor taste over piss poor manners any day. Who died and made you Hugo Boss anyway?

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Fucking white people

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 7

And racist

8 years ago | Likes 18 Dislikes 4

That is fair. I wanted to make it satirical based on how people complain about white people but I messed it up.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

All good, sarcasm is often difficult to infer through text.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Is it really? Domestic owls are normally really calm. They can be trained to fly on cue. This one is just a bad example.

8 years ago | Likes 21 Dislikes 29

You make a good point, just including animals and children in a wedding is always risky and if it goes wrong you can never take it back.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

The guy it landed on held his arm up which it took as a cue to land on his hand. Owl did what it thought it was meant to and he freaked out.

8 years ago | Likes 27 Dislikes 0

no, really.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Domestic owls? And just which species of owl has been domesticated?

8 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 8

None, which coincides with the fact that I specifically didn't say domesticated. Or are you arguing that owls can't be home trained?

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 14

If I understand. You're saying domesticated wild owls are perfectly safe. But here we see one of the possible flaws. Owl could be harmed.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

In this case the execution is poor. But if the owl is properly trained and the crowd is accounted for, like it should be, it CAN be safe.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

My aunt had a south American screech owl in her home but I wouldn't really call it "trained" just better behaved than It used to be

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

I have one too, a scops owl. I also didn't train it per se, but it can be trained. Lots of people do it. It's not an inherently stupid idea.
