I've stopped laughing out loud entirely. Realized it the other day. Thought about it... & it's the world at the moment. A lot of us are exhausted. Presidents tend to work very hard on making themselves seem like they're just regular dudes who ascended to the office of the presidency because they're just regular people, like you and me. We like dogs. I'm not saying Obama is like that but other presidents who were clearly trash humans still has dogs. Being fair, which is possibly more than the shit strain deserves, there's context around those that are forced into it. Not that they did it out of their own volition but rather were trafficked or otherwise coerced. Makes it slightly better but I feel that's a separate clause that should cover other broader acts.

I know it's a funny meme to place Patel as the defender of bestiality, but what they were discussing is a sensible policy for rare cases (basically not to punish someone for having raped). I doubt he is the one that came up with it, given that he could do fuck all to argue for it, but I think we should focus on his utter incompetence and drug abuse instead.

The rule change also only applies to people who were under the age of 18 at the time of the incident. Given that teenagers can be (and in some cases are) convicted for possession of child pornography when they have nudes of themselves on their own phone, I don't know if I can see a standing conviction as a slam dunk.
