Not ruined for Imgur Inc if ad revenues are up. Just ruined for users who liked wild & wooly Imgur pre 2017. Somebody's clicking those ads.

Odd, because it was the traffic generated by old Imgur that made it monetizable. As much as we complain, traffic must still be high.

They have to maintain a "safe" and "pleasant" environment to keep their advertising partners happy...
