Make PR and DC states and the balance shifts dramatically. Also electoral college sucks and is 90% of the problems. The real bottom of the issue problem is the two party system. Game is completely rigged no matter what you pick.
People understand right? That the constitution only allowed 10 to 20 percent of the population to vote? And guess who that tiny percentage included? That's right, wealthy, white, landowners.
*male. Women could own land and maintain/accrue wealth - usually at the death of their husband, but could not vote regardless of whether or not they held property and had wealth.
The court needs to be remade first - that means increasing the number to 15 and Dems utilizing the rule that Repubs made allowing for a simple majority to confirm. Without a majority that will support Congressional reforms, it will never be reformed because the justices will just invalidate any Congressional move and claim privilege.
California has 39.5 million people and 52 House reps + 2 senators or 1 member of congress for every 731,481. Wyoming has 588,753 people and 1 House rep + 2 senators or 1 member of congress for every 196,251. In other words, Wyoming gets almost 4 times the representation that California does. Gentlemen, this is democracy manifest!
its really funny because here in canada the maritime provinces complain all the time they only get a a handful of house seats because newfoundland's population is that of a small town in ontario

All of the Maritimes could merge into one province, and they'd still be one of the smaller ones

What's the charge? Eating a succulent American kleptocracy?

I mean thats why you have the house, not that it matters, your opinion on laws means fuck all to any and all politicians

You are correct and your comment should not have been downvoted.

I got a downvote fairy train going and I just threw a rock at the hive with my last post

The Senate has more power than the house, and was deliberately created as a hedge against democracy

And im saying it doesnt matter they all hate the publics opinion on laws anyway
