I did the grass whistling when I was a kid. Does that mean I was a Cool Uncle as a 7-year-old girl?

11 years ago | Likes 161 Dislikes 1

my girlfriend showed me how to do that aha, i guess she's a cool uncle too

11 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

7 year old girls make the best uncles. Hello FBI watchlist.

I'm extremely good at the "let yourself down" part of the levitation trick.

Hahaha!

11 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

The grass whistle is what happens when I wear a thong.

11 years ago | Likes 389 Dislikes 3

Wouldn't that be "the ass whistle"?

11 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Should've been top comment.

11 years ago | Likes 64 Dislikes 2

I could not agree with this more. Lol

11 years ago | Likes 26 Dislikes 1

Can't you feel the crackling or hear some popping belt lightning strikes?

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Grass whistle sounds like a dying rabbit and calls bears when you're in the bush. The more you know!

11 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

This is exactly the kind of uncle I want to be.

11 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Best way to hold a hamburger my ass! Now days if you go through a drive through the burgers are like paper.

11 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Best burger you'll ever have is in Denver, CO at the Cherry Cricket. They throw a slice of cream cheese on that mofo.

I don't smoke, but what's the point if you don't inhale ?

11 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

Second hand smoke?

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

With cigars you don't inhale, you taste the smoke with your tongue.

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

but you stupidly make people downwind inhale

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

You think you've fooled us into having a PB&J burger. But you're very wrong.

11 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

I'm not having one either.

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

At home when I make burgers I have a couple ways I like them. I go to a burger place and will get several more varieties. NONE will have PBJ

11 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 2

Giving up standing up to pee? You might want to rethink that one.

11 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 4

I haven't stood up to pee since I was in middle school. I'd much rather sit.

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Great! Then you are all set.

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

:D Now all I need is the vagina!

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

11 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

11 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

The grass whistle is a dad trick. Also, you can use a similar hand position (w no grass) and make a whistle like a mourning dove.

11 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

I feel ya bud

11 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

GIRLS DO ALL THESE THINGS TOO

11 years ago | Likes 17 Dislikes 7

Nobody said manliness is gender specific.

11 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Well, they kind of did.

11 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

You're a man now, son.

The dinner roll bounce was a complete success; my nephews promptly began to throw theirs on the floor.

11 years ago | Likes 2253 Dislikes 3

11 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Best response you can get. Total belief and imitation.

11 years ago | Likes 326 Dislikes 0

And your siblings are the ones who get stuck with the resulting mess and continued attempts at it, which is of course a bonus.

11 years ago | Likes 62 Dislikes 0

Holy shit that will work so well with my nephew! Brb guys gotta go give the little guy a new way to terrorize his parents!

11 years ago | Likes 70 Dislikes 1

Practice first, you don't want to fumble when it can be avoided.

11 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 0

Also, know your own strength, your family wont appreciate it when you toss your roll into the ceiling fan and shower them with bread bits.

11 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

A ricochet biscuit is a biscuit that bounces back off the wall and into your mouth - if it don't bounce back, you go hungry...

Your beard can also freeze to the ice and save you.

11 years ago | Likes 21 Dislikes 3

If that fails, try licking the ice, your tongue will act as support for your beard!

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

C'mon. Light that cigar with matches! You Plebian street swine!

11 years ago | Likes 204 Dislikes 6

If you don't use cedar strips to light your cigars you're a total POG.

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Butane is fine though, it's good for the torch lighters which can be used anywhere. Plus, it's odorless (which some say better for cigars)

11 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 0

Most people don't use matches. They use a butane torch.

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

C'mon meow. Sure it's classic, but the sulfur can sometimes be transfered to the leaves. That's why torch lighters are recommended.

11 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

Long stem ceder matches my friend. Let the tip burn off and you get a perfect light. I have a nice torch but if I have time match is best.

11 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Matches are nice, but a butane torch lighter does the job just fine if youre used to it.

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Well, Hickory matches or the Cedar wrapping your cigar comes in.

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Don't be ridiculous. Any odourless flame will do. You reveal yourself as an amateur, more interested in the spectacle than the pleasure.

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I thought it was clear I was joking with the phrase, "Plebian street swine!" I didn't intend to start a holier than thou cigar war.

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Incorrect. You use cedar strips provided by any decent tobacconist. Light the cedar, and use that to light the cigar.

11 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

Cedarwood burns at a low heat, and produces an odour that complements many kinds of tobacco. But it's a matter of preference, not a rule.

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

You mean you don't cut your own cedar? I planted two cedar in my back yard for such purposes.

11 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

As an ecologist, if you really planted cedar, someone should slap you.

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I thought it was clear I was joking with the phrase, "Plebian street swine!" I didn't intend to start a holier than thou cigar war.

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

If there's one thing I learned from Hell Boy, It's use a match to light a cigar

11 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 2

Sulphur or wood matches can affect the taste of the cigar. Hellboy likes it that way but usually a butane lighter (torch) is preferred.

11 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Long stem ceder matches are your best friend. I only use the torch if I'm in a rush or it's has a very mild taste.

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It wasn't Hellboy, it was Manning, the director or whatever.

11 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

It this case I was using Hell Boy as the name of the film, and not he character

11 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Most of us find ourselves smoking outside, where matches are highly impractical.

11 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 1

smokers are highly impractical too

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

I thought it was clear I was joking with the phrase, "Plebian street swine!" I didn't intend to start a holier than thou cigar war.

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I read your comment quickly, and didn't realize the whole thing was sarcasm.

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Ah, sarcasm is often missed online. I do prefer matches, but I've used and enjoyed both ways of lighting.

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I prefer to light my pipe with matches as well, but I won't use them outside. It's not worth the hassle.

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Cigars are not great for outside since they last too long. If you have 45 minutes to enjoy a cigar with some cognac, you can light it inside

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Except in rental agreements where smoking is not permitted inside.

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

The 30 seconds between lighting it and leaving the house are surely not punishable by law?

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Welcome to California and nosy neighbors. :P

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Don't drink strong alcohol with a cigar. It numbs the tongue, making it difficult to appreciate the tobacco flavour. Rookie mistake.

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I have always put my pinkies under the bottom bun. I get teased for it. Suck it, losers, I knew I was right!

11 years ago | Likes 96 Dislikes 1

I just grip the burger further back. I like to have about half of it in front of my thumbs.

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Then you might end up with the bun sagging in the front. I've had that happen too much myself.

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

According to this post you are officially a man

11 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 1

No, they are just manly. You don't need to be a man to be manly. Manliness is unisex.

11 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

Same here. I also don't take one big bite of the entire burger, but rather one bite off the top half and then one off the bottom half.

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Just blew my mind right there.

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Same here. I do it wish soft shell tacos, too.

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I do too. (And I'm a woman, so I get funny looks for a huge burger.)

11 years ago | Likes 17 Dislikes 0

I'm a girl too. Big burgers are my jam :)

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Right?! I was at Red Robin the other day and this lady looked at me just astonished that I was eating such a big burger.

11 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

If the burger is too big I already used fork and knife to cut it. Never done it when I went to the USA. Too afraid of being deported...

11 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

You're supposed to flip it, the top bun is usually thicker than bottom, but yeah Guantanamo if you try to fork and knife a burger here.

11 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I have genuinely never thought about that. Are you some kind of buger scientist? I will use this knowledge wisely.

11 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

As an American, that's a reasonable fear.

11 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Isn't the Art of Manliness written by a suburban Mormon couple?

11 years ago | Likes 47 Dislikes 0

well I cant think of anything manlier than that

11 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 1

How to manily load the Dodge Caravan to attend temple.

11 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 1

Looked at the website, and you're right. Other people write for it too as well.

11 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

Mention of fry sauce leads me to believe yes.

11 years ago | Likes 17 Dislikes 0

I love fry sauce not Mormon but I am from utah

11 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Don't you hate the weird looks you get when asking for it out of state? I always forget it's not everywhere. :(

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I live in Arizona now and the first time I went to Carl's Jr here and asked they looked at me and said "like ketchup" then crippling sadness

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I live in Arizona now and the first time I went to Carl's Jr here and asked they looked at me and said "like ketchup" then crippling sadness

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Then you tell them it's just ketchup/mayo/pickle juice plz give me those things. They usually do it and everybody wins!

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

what country do I have to go to to get this "fry sauce"?

11 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

Every place makes it different. But it's amazing.

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Idaho/Utah. It's a mormon thing. Frysauce is ketchup+mayonnaise.

11 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

Yeah, it's a HUGE thing in Utah...like ranch in Texas. Sauce: I've lived in both states.

11 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Calling it fry sauce might be a Mormon thing but I've been doing ketchup + mayo for a long as I can remember. And I've never been to Utah.

11 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Seriously. What the fuck is fry sauce? As an American I'd imagine it is something we have? Is it Thousand Island dressing?

11 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

1 part ketchup, 2 parts mayo

11 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I personally prefer a 1:1 ratio of the two

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Its usually a simple mix of mayonnaise and ketchup and sometimes vinegar or other things. Source: Google

11 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

More than just ketchup and mayo. Chili sauce, chili powder and a squeeze of lemon is the secret at the old Swifty's in Salt Lake City.

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Where is/was Swifty's in SLC?

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Only one. Drive-thru only [double side lanes]. On 4th S. and 5th E. Southeast corner [now a bank =[

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Bummer :( I am out of town right now, but was getting excited to try it when I got back!

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

There's a close recipe here: http://somedudesfrysauce.com/store/ made locally.

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

#1 I think Expectedly delicious would be more accurate.

11 years ago | Likes 294 Dislikes 0

But why would you put steak on hamburger? Why not put steak on steak?

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 2

Okay so this comment is showing up on the two gifs of twins that don't know they've been born yet and it was slightly alarming.

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Agreed. All these other people: ew.

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Eh, without a lot of salad, including pineapple and beetroot, and an egg, these are all pretty plain burgers and really not worth it.

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 2

The nacho burger is my favourite, I make it all the time!

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Wanna know how I know they are from Utah? Two words "fry sauce"

11 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

Is that like Russian dressing?

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Kinda, but simply ketchup and mayo no extra additives like horseradish

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I thought this was a Filipino thing I didn't know other people did this .____.

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

There's a local bar that has a burger with jalapeno and pineapple on it. HOLY FUCKING SHIT is it good.

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Except for the PB&J one. I'm not gonna lie, I'm skeptical of that one.

11 years ago | Likes 61 Dislikes 1

Went back and saw the one with Cheez Whiz... no. I think I'd rather have the PB&J. Lol

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

I've had this, and it is gooooood!

11 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Serious? I love salty potato chips with my pbj. I can only imagine a burger being heaven

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I dunno about the jelly, but a burger with a fried egg and peanut butter is godly. Sweet, salty, and savory.

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Can verify surprising tastiness. I had one recently at a little diner in Somerset, PA.

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

With pb alone it should be good. I've had pb and a fries egg, I liked it

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I've never had it with jam/jelly but adding peanut butter to a burger is heavenly.

11 years ago | Likes 23 Dislikes 1

Fact. You really want to have a sharp flavor with the PB - white onion, pickles, jalapenos, etc.
