My Sanctuary Hills. It's the new Diamond City! Better location and fewer assholes! Stop by to browse our shops, enjoy a hot meal, or get a haircut!

Back patio

General Trader

My house

My craftable cat! I love this mod! :)

This is Ann Hargrove's store so she hosts her new radio show here too.

My boyfriends fallout is so much prettier. I shall convince him to post

But did you help all the settlements?

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I walled mine off with those concrete walls that look like from a prison. Put turrets everywhere. Then used the spawn raiders mod to test 1

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

it all. Spoiler: bloodbath. Tis awesome

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I very much approve

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Every time I see "Guns, guns, guns!" I say it in Marcus Kincaid's voice.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I have work to do

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Our work is never done. I've gotten word of another settlement needing help. I'll mark the location on your map.

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

"Preston, Can't they just come here instead?" -me, to myself

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Settlement happiness still 87%

10 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

That's fucking awesome! These mods look better than anything Bethesda has sold dlc wise. That shouldn't be! I Gotta start to PC again!

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Always liked not upgrading frequently to play the game at its best but looks like consoles are taking that away this gen. So PC here I come!

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Honestly, the only DLC for FO4 that I've found to be interesting so far is Automatron.

Where's the mod to build a diner?

Homemaker-Settlements Expanded on nexus mods

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Time to crouch steal your own stuff.

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Fallout4 is such a fun open world shooter. I wish it had roleplaying in it though.

10 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Tried all of those mods, game always crashing, if not one of them, the other causes it.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I really wanted to like building settlements, but I just couldn't. I just couldn't!

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Craftable Cats mod wtf

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

You place it in workshop mode like an object and it comes to life and stays around any cat bowl you have placed.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

A mod that lets you build a cat for an empty milk bottle lol. There are different colors to choose from than vanilla game.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I'm the only person in the world that found this game severely lacking.

10 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 3

The general opinion of the game overall, from the story to mechanics and bugs, was that it was fairly average.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I really don't think this is true.

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Craftable cat?

Neat

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Thank you :)

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I still have not beat the main campaign. I spent so many hours on settlements before the good mods, and new games came out since then.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

You're honestly not missing much by not completing the main story. Heck, the Automatron DLC story was better than the entire main story.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Side quests were kinda better. Or at least exactly the same

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Does it disable the achievements if you use the mod? What happened if you turn off the mods?

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Mods disable achievements, IIRC- but there's a mod to enable them with mods active, because who wants to play an unmodded Bethesda game?

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

People playing unmodded Bethesda games?

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Do you know how to do that?

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

And here I am being a scrub and building a wall around the whole place so the only way in is from the bridge. Nice work ^^

10 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 1

That was the first thing I did after making the necessities.

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Thanks! I built a wall all the way around as well lol I just didn't get a screenshot of it.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Too bad attackers spawn inside the walls a lot of the time.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Not sure why you got downvoted, since it's actually true that some settlements have attacker spawn points inside the build area.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

lol yeah it happens. also for some reason my provisioners keep swimming through the river by sanctuary instead of taking the bridge

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Never been attacked there, but now I know :P

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I never had that happen even once, except for subterranean enemies (Rad Scorpions), which happened exactly once*

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

*and I think it was because I deleted an entire house - because that is where they spawned from.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Some settlements have the spawn points inside the build area, such as raiders spawning by the northern entrance to Sanctuary.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I placed the gate back a little, and covered it with turrets - maybe that helps?

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

If you've got turrets in range, they'll usually kill the raiders before you even notice them.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I know right. I spent like two whole days sprucing my place up and I was so proud but now it's just like

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

That fucking bramin on that fucking roof. Took me too long to figure out where the mooing was coming from the first time.

10 years ago | Likes 69 Dislikes 1

That fucker always liked to spawn inside my house...

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Mine got trapped in a bathroom in a random house. He was too big to fit through the doorway.

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Hard to believe they didnt fix that before release.

10 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

Bethesda knows they can release a bugged, shitty mess of a game and still get fellated by the fans. They don't care.

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Settlement happiness still 87%

10 years ago | Likes 40 Dislikes 0

Fickle settlers! I guess being raped and pillaged wasn't all THAT bad?

10 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

Or just random bouts of them going 'Nah fam, I ain't working' *unassigns self*

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

That hasn't happened to me yet. What do you have to do to make that happen?

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It only happens to me when I assign Codsworth to a guard post. He does it for a bit, then decides he likes housekeeping better.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I assigned that asshole to sell clothes. He keeps stopping. Prick.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Yeah don't assign companions to do shit. It never works for long

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Apparently try to legit get the 'benevolent leader' trophy. Then again, I am playing on PS4... the inferior machine apparently.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

the hell is "Craftable Cats" ?

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

A mod that lets you build a cat for an empty milk bottle lol. There are different colors to choose from than vanilla game.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Why not just use the traps? I catch a cat almost every night. I currently have 32.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Really just to have more color options and no waiting to catch them

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

You place it in workshop mode like an object and it comes to life and stays around any cat bowl you have placed.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Eh, instead of minecraft in my Fallout game i'd give an arm for dialogue options that wasn't catered to toddlers

10 years ago | Likes 118 Dislikes 9

There's a mod for that! lol

10 years ago | Likes 44 Dislikes 4

I enjoy the silly sarcastic humor in the dialogue. But it does feel like illusion of choice. Where little will change regardless of choice

10 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Ugh the guy thats like "some days are harder than others" "I just miss him so much" sooo annoying

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

All of the original Sanctuary settlers are irritating.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

"I told you Sanctuary would grow. The sight never lies"

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

"Uh, please! I...I just need to be alone right now." THEN FUCK OFF, MAN!

10 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Yes!!! Ugh

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Right? Here I am, literally banging a ghoul, and my character has quest dialogue that is "'Ghoul?' What's that?" Come the fuck ON, Bethesda.

10 years ago | Likes 20 Dislikes 1

Here I am, literally banging a synth, and I have the option to go, "What's a synth?" (Curie, in case you were wondering.)

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

Woah... you can bang ghouls? Sweet.

10 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

I didn't even have the patience to build my own house.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Yeah my first playthrough I didn't even bother lol

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Ahem relevancy

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

lol i just slap some floors, bed and i'm done. Lazy ass settlers

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Shit I didn't even do that I don't even think I slept in that game

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

nah it's for the settlements, pain in the ass to maintain but i guess it's a place you can actually use the junk littered in the game.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

oh the point of sleeping is to sleep next to your companion when at max affinity and get a bonus on the exp points

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Welp I had the lone perk soo xoD and I just put all my junk in a workshop and used it when I wanted to upgrade a weapon

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

you can just left them at home and go back when you want to sleep and dump your junk. You need to assign them a bed next to you tho

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Cannot wait for the console mods. Wish my laptop wasn't complete shit and I could play on PC as God intended.

10 years ago | Likes 18 Dislikes 0

Console mods? They exist?

10 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

For Fallout they do

10 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

Show me. I must know!

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

They're a bit limited compared to the PC mods, as anything that uses external libraries (e.g. F4SE) won't work on the consoles.

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Yeah had a look there and they look bit silly some of them. Still excited that mods have come to console.

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

There was something on the front page of my PS4 about it, but who knows. Could be nothing. I miss my gaming rig.

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

They're coming to PS4 soon! Did a great job on the xbox, I wish you all the modding happiness.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Already got them on Xbox. It's pretty fun, I've been killing super mutants in a power ranger outfit for the past two days

10 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Just make sure the mods you're using on console aren't stolen. People have been uploading other peoples mods without permission.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Yessssssss can't wait till I get home from holiday. Wife will not be happy that fallout is going back in the console

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

It seems to me your problems would be solved by having more money. Have you considered getting more money?

10 years ago | Likes 17 Dislikes 0

Is there a mod for that? :)

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Yes I have. Unfortunately, I also have student loans, and a huge vet bill from a very sick kitten. So a new laptop will have to wait.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Those too could be solved with more money.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

This is true, but a week has a limited number of hours to work, and I'm contract, so no overtime for me.
