As someone who generally warns against following these bullshit posts, this one was actually pretty good and fair.

If you are being frisked, be sure to yell "I need an adult!" as loud as you can.

In the UK you can wear a mask!

The trick is if they ask you to remove it... has this area been deemed an area of imminent terrorism? Has an officer above the rank....

Call the officer a pig many times. They love it.

Is it fat that as soon as I saw "Slim Jim", I was like, why would a meat stick be suspicious? Hahaha.

what is a "slim jim"?

12 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Not at all. I saw "Slim Jim" and my first thought was "Does that make me a criminal for eating them?"

12 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Hahaha. I AM NOT ALONE!

I'm just glad I haven't been pulled over yet. Not that I *do* anything. Still, stressful, I imagine.

I got pulled over for running a stop sign by my NEIGHBOR. The chewing out I got was intense.

Don't sweat it then. Most cops aren't dicks about minor stuff and if you're cool and don't argue, they're more likely to let you off.

Most of the police around here are customers of mine at work, too. It's all about who you know!

12 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Or do everything the officer asks because you've got nothing to hide and the jerk writes you up for "7 over" because you weren't a juicy DUI

12 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Generally, don't be a dick to the officer, and they won't be a dick to you. The less suspicious you make yourself, the quicker it'll be over

lol I so wish this was true. Talked to too many "young" cops at house parties to know no matter how polite you are, they will fuck with you.

12 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

You clearly haven't met the right cops. 99% of my interactions with the police are positive. I'm polite, they're polite, we all win.

12 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

The only polite ones are ones that notice you live in the same town. It's like night and day how quickly their attitude changes when 1/2

12 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

they notice you could be somebody they have connections to, or you have connections over them. 2/2

12 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I know, totally. I guess that's why every cop I've ever met with whom I had no connections with still treated me with respect.

You should always refuse a breathalyzer or road side, then they have to give you a blood test or let you go.

12 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 2

In Quebec, the refusal of a breathaliser is a criminal offence as bad as failing it.

Pffft, Canada.

12 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Say I was sober, and I refused, I'd lose my license. Why would I refuse?

12 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

In America you have the right to refuse, you dont lose your license, I dont know where OP heard that bullshit
