Building a starfighter

The plain clicked together product (file picture), it's a no clue Bandai Star Wars TIE fighter. Scale is 1:72.

The paint job of the main parts. Done with a simple airbrush starter kit.

Here you see the difference quite nicely from plain to colored. Most part is actually the cleaning of the airbrush equipment though.

Solar panels came out nicely. I left the black panels as is to keep the shiny effect.

A lot of tiny water decals add another level of detail.

Finished, yet unaged model. I really liked how the color came out in general.

Finally with all detailed painting, decals and aging.

Back view. I tried to apply the washing were I figured it is most probably in "reality".

It's been my first model in ages (since I was a kid basically). Doing the painting and washing/aging was a nice challenge.

Next is the X-Wing - but this model is more complicated from the coloring. Let's see. Hope you liked the little show off. MTFBWY
