Sidewalk tearout hunts are fun. The finds can span decades within a few feet. In a 5 foot stretch I found a 1903 IHP and a gold gilt post office uniform button circa 1970s. I’ll take it.

Few of the more interesting finds from the pasture land I searched near Madison WI this weekend. What I believe is A vintage green gemmed dress clip, pocket knife, 1919 SL Quarter, flower button, various farm buckles/rings, and another spoon.

Couple neat finds for the weekend. Two wheat pennies, a silver ring, two eagle buttons (one poss. 1820-1850’s pre civil war) 3 tine fork, and a fuel sediment cup maybe off old tractor. And silver pendant with black stone.

Got to spend a few hours detecting at an old water mill built in 1868. Got a turquoise ring, grape leaf something, not sure. Also got a 71 tag and a princess pat makeup tin. Good day out.

All my combined sparkly finds from my two week Japan vacation. These were just what I saw (not metal detected) while walking through the city streets (Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka) I found so many items!! Plus some beautiful old ceramics i found on the surface :)

Well I did manage to go detecting for couple hours in Japan today. I chose Ichinomiya beach. Got sunburned and battery drained fast as it was 95f/35c out. Got handful of coins and a little ring. I’m now a lobster ?

Cool find from last nights metal detecting at a road tear out. It’s a 1851 Large US Cent but it has a keyhole shaped hole in it and 1875 engraved across the middle. I’m thinking it may have been a custom token made to commemorate a special date. Love ❤️
