That's on spotty 3g only, with wifi and gps on, that range gets down to about 3ft. I've used it a bunch. And you can force it to ring at (1)

Once you find out that your phone is within your home, you can use Android Device Manager to have it ring the phone, even on silent.

Hmm. Mine just brings up a lollipop with the word "lollipop" in the middle. It changes color when tapped, but that's it. Droid Turbo.

That's not hidden. Developer mode is hidden. The little easter egg in each version and/or game, that's hidden.

Go to Settings, About, and there should be an entry Android Version. Tap that until it shows, about 5 taps. Then next one sometimes tap 1/2

If you want a hidden feature, go into the menu and tap your phone's Android version number over and over. You'll get an Easter egg surprise

The only apps are the remote and the screen recorder. The remote usually is pre-installed if your phone has an IR blaster.
