Ca-too-chee-moya. We are far from the sacred boxes of our grandfathers, and from the hairballs of our people.

"ohhhhh warm thing, i love you so much." - cat, definitely.

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

For something covered in fur, cats sure love warm things.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Cat just got back from cat nip dispensary. Got his script filled today.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I hope this isn't a salt lamp. It could be deadly to your cat. Cats and dogs are drawn to it, but it could kill them if untreated.

Illuminate-i

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Just to spread awareness: cats will often lick these lamps and end up with salt poisoning. It's cute, but they're not safe for cats.

9 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Kajit has lamp if you have coin

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Supergluing your cat to the lamp takes real dedication

There's a movie where a guy is streaming stuff on the internet and he live streams a puppy and a kitten on a giant fly trap basically 1/2

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Just inches from food and lets them starve to death. He eventually goes on to do things with people. Pretty interesting movie imo 2/2

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I usually just drench something in glue and throw it at the lil shit, works for me but it gets messy

Do you want warlocks to arrive, because this is how it happens.

I think japan's working on a machine for that

9 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

same. been trying eharmony and PoF but to no avail. :/ too much of an introvert to just walk up to random strangers and say 'hi'

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I don't know if I could handle being the object of that much dedication, attention and affection from someone else. Would feel too weird.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

first you just relax most of your body, lean forward onto the other person, then hug back with a firm squeeze

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I might if you pay well enough. Advance warning I am evil.

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

Sounds like a good deal, comment OP

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Unfortunately I don't have any money on me. Perhaps we could.. work something out?

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I warned you in advance I was evil. And you want to play make a deal? HAHAHAHAHA. Advance your deal. If you dare.

But the fangs aren't as cool

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I always get an urge to lick those lamps

9 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 0

I've done it. It's taste like what you'd expect.

9 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

Did it the other day myself....salty.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Not to be *that person* but so do cats - and this picture gives me anxiety.

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Yep, they'll lick the lamps until they get salt poisoning. Happens to quite a few ignorant pet owners.

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

Right. I have a salt lamp that I LOVE, but I have 2 cats. I am very careful to keep them very far apart.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Disclaimer: I love it because it's pretty & I like the ambiance of the soft orange glow. I don't think it's curing me of everything. :)

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That must be a lot of salt then as cats have pretty efficient kidneys.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I mean, yeah. It's literally a rock of Himalayan salt with a light bulb popped up in the middle.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

They are pretty much solid salt

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

I meant how much salt the cat would need to lick.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

They aren't called salt lamps for nothing

9 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

I'm guessing that lamp is niiiiice and warm. Thus why the cling for life to it.

9 years ago | Likes 631 Dislikes 6

Yeah those lamps get pretty warm.

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Also salty, which can be a bit of a danger.

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Or it's sucking the life force out of the cat and it can't escape

9 years ago | Likes 35 Dislikes 0

I have one, they get pretty warm

9 years ago | Likes 62 Dislikes 0

Had mine on since I got it. Can confirm

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Where did you get it? Have a link?

9 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 0

Oops, yea, Amazon has them

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Search Himalayan salt lamps on like amazon or something, you'll get tons of options

9 years ago | Likes 20 Dislikes 0

Old light bulbs are hell of inefficient, 90% goes to the heat. Those things are usually sold along with the salt form, avoiding the ban.

9 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 1

Though that can be good for a small enough structure, doubles as a backup heat source!

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

You can still buy incandescents in store, and definitely online.

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Not in Asia, UE and Oceania. US is... not in our galaxy. They sell it as a "technical equipment" and "should NOT be used as a light source".

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 5

Yeah, I have them in places like the bathroom and closet, where I want lots of light immediately.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Only CFL's need up to 3 seconds to be in full operational state, try LED bulbs for the instant light source and prolonged lifespan.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

3 seconds? Yeah, no.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

I'm not really worried about lifespan... I've lived in my apartment 3 years and replaced one light bulb. It was in a Scentsy.
