10% of people having a radically different opinion than 90% *generally* means that opinion isn't popular, but I know we got into statistics and stuff in high school and the Rethugs can't let their girlfriends get that old without being pregnant first, so obviously education takes a back seat.

It's not just gerrymandering, either. Our voting laws are the most restrictive in the country. And in the US, that's quite the feat. Then throw in the semi-annual voter roll purges, closures of polling locations, randomly and without notice relocating polling locations, etc etc etc...
