We need to pay attention here. They're telling us what they plan to do once again. They seem to be poised on not listening to what the Supreme Court, the Constitution, or any other jurisdiction has to say about their election interference plans. So I guess if the federal government wants to take responsibility for elections in the US (which I know they can't), I guess they'll need to abolish the electoral college since that is also run at a state level.

I just can't handle the flashing text, what the fuck is with that? I can tolerate it to an extent when it's something I want to see, but both at the top AND bottom of the screen, you've got wiggling text and flashing highlights!? makes me nauseous and not in a metaphorical "I am disgusted by this" sense. it's actually hard to watch a lot of videos put out these days.

Register to vote. Pay attention to candidates voting history if they're up for reelection. Go to town hall meetings. Email questions to your representatives. Please be involved so these bastards can't just roll through.

Why do Americans need to register to vote? In Norway you just get a thing in the mail asking you to vote if you are a citizen.

You are registered to vote in both places. In Norway, its just done automatically for you. In the United States, you have to proactively do it yourself.

I'm still pretty sure, after all these years, Imgur has its own bots downvote new posts to game the "new and rising" algorithm. The instant downvotes started happening way back when that feature was new, and it sounds exactly like the sort of bubble gum and duct tape fix the original devs would do to stop a new post with one upvote (i.e., infinite improvement in popularity thanks to percentages) from taking over new and rising.
