I felt that Kamala missed an opportunity by not simply repeating every word Trump says, but in a whiny, annoying voice. Eventually when he speaks, all his followers will end up hearing like it came from Fran Drescher.

I still feel all the Democrats had to do in campaign ads was blast clips of Trump talking. Just spamming TV and YouTube spots with highlights from Trump rallys. They could pull from a dozen or so so people right wingers listen at fist. Just broadcasting incoherent rambling, removed from the pomp and feelings of watching a rally, would have forced people to see the idiot as he was.

Imagine a woman president all you want, but stop making women the democratic nominee for president for a while. The United States has shown us twice now and that it would literally elect trump over a woman. Put a pin in that one for now until the right wing stop frothing at the mouth over the fact that we had a black president that was good at the job.

What we need is a lady in both parties so we have to elect a woman. About damn time that someone comes in that knows how to run a household properly, balance a checkbook, manage all the workload, and basically do everything guaranteed better than a man can - and most certainly better than Trump can.

The Democratic Party didn't choose Hillary. Democratic Primary voters did. And while technically true that they chose Kamala, she was literally the only person who applied for the job.

The DNC is currently melting down over Socdems with actualy hints of leftist leanings actually having success. A meltdown they did not have over actual fascism. Stop pretending the DNC isn't complicit, or that the lesser evil isn't still actually evil. Stop acting like the Democrat establishment is somehow immune to criticism solely because they aren't AS bad as the reactionaries. Stop acting like asking for an actual left candidate from the ostensibly left wing party is centrism.

Kamala and Clinton didn't lose because they were women. Hillary lost because a lot of people were tired of establishment candidates and malding over Bernie's treatment by the DNC, and we hadn't HAD a Trump presidency yet so people were complacent about him, much like people were about Reagan. Didn't think he could POSSIBLY really win. Obviously that excuse doesn't hold up with Kamala, but her, and the democrats at large, being okey dokey with genocide hurt them. I am glad this is being repeated, I've been ranting about this for a long time. It's hard to explain so I try to explain it along side racist belief, everyone knows this nation is racist with systemic issues created specifically to benefit some folks and hurt others based on race. We're a racist nation. We can all accept thats a problem here. We're WAY more sexist though and thats just half ass cared about. As a white cis straight male the game for me is "Story mode" black women have "hardcore"

I had to do a cross country trip when Clinton was running against Trump, the amount of churches I saw (drove through the south) with giant signs about how she can't be elected because it is a womans purpose to serve man.... the number was three digits. Just about every single church had a message out about women being lesser than men, its deeeeeeeeep in our culture and not just us white folks. Its deep in a lot of cultures here.
