#2 I used to play sax. If I’d have stuck with it, I might’ve been great by now.

"Express Yourself" is a fabulous grrl power song, and the video echoes many of the themes presented in one of the original science fiction epics, Fritz Lang's "Metropolis."
The quote at the end of the video is directly from the movie, too.

#8 whoever edited this video needs a stern talking-to
SwissScars
I edited it to 3 minutes from 3:41. You're complaining about me or the person before?
ItHappenedInThe20thCentury
Oh definitely the person before. I don't think you would have reused the same "back to" so many times, not to mention I believe you would have been able to wait more than a second and a half before most of the jump cuts.

wholehearted agreement - many of these videos were a little.... but I'm old, so not my place da..dee..da..dee..da,

#1 That crotch grabbing had people up in freaking arms- so shocking!

Our queen was no stranger to scandal. She was brilliant and gifted at it.

#3 @SwissScars dude, all respect for your fine work here, but ... enough with the Sheena Easton! Is she your alltime spank-bank subject? do you owe her money? is she in the room with you now holding a gun to your head?
The woman was a mildly attractive mid singer at best. It's clear you loves you some 1980s euro-trash-style dance pop vibes, but ... ENOUGH.
Thank you for your attention to this matter.
IamTOOOLDforThisShite
Ditto with the Kylie Minogue and the [*checks notes*] "Sandra"(??)
What's with the one-name mononym thing for this 'Sandra' woman anyway?
Don't you have to be, like, famous first?

Your baby don't take the morning train? They don't work 9 to 5 and then. Take another train straight back to you again? No wonder you grumpy.

Back to Life! I haven't heard that song in a LONG time!

#2 I heard this song on the radio for DECADES before I managed to catch a DJ announcing the musicians & title.

It’s sososo good
FellaWithUmbrella
Candy Dulfer went to play with Prince (”Partyman”) on several albums and was on his Musicology-tour in the early 2000’s.

A tip that has less and less value as the years go by: you can call the radio station and ask them what they just played.
Dannyalcatraz
I knew that, but because the universe has a sense of humor, I was usually driving one the freaking interstate when I heard the damn song.😂
So I had no idea in which city the “92.5” I was listening to for 30 minutes at 75MPH was located.
studog2010
I feel you. I watched W5 for years before hearing the theme song on a stereo at a worksite. Man was that a good day.
