Difficult to say. She'd have to make a run for Senate or Governor first, probably, and New York has a lot of Republican territory. But things could change in the next decade or two, so predictions at this time would be inaccurate. (This is just my thought as a Democrat who has lived in "red states" all my life.)

Your info seems to be off, since on the Working Families website AOC is listed as one of their currently supported candidates. There was a legal bid filed in april of this year to knock her off the Working Families ballot, but so far nothing has come of it and the WF spokesperson called it "a distraction meant to waste everyone’s time" Interesting.

I'm really not of fan of either extreme, be it left or right. I think she does a good job representing her district (who appear to wildly agree). Some of her policy proposals however, I find to be not that well thought out. Medicare for all SOUNDS great on paper. In practice however, I could see the Republicans using it to make abortions cost 100k each, and not be covered just to prevent people from having them. I want the government as far out of my life as I can get it.

It's not unusual in primaries. I think it's partly because incumbents just naturally have a lot of momentum, and partly because practically nobody votes in primaries, though that *has* been trending upward in the last, few years, as a small proportion of people have presumably started to give a shit about anything. Wisconsin had over 25% of eligible voters show up in 2022's primaries for the first time since 1988. Still not exactly a thrilling number, is it.
