I like her because there's a whole song about her being odd and not fitting in. Plus she loves to read.

I LOVE HER

Edit: My friends are just poking fun at me. It doesn't upset me, I think it's funny.

Belle is my favorite too, and my friend tried to ruin it for me by saying she just had Stockholm Syndrome

The only thing bad about buying a figurine is now it's easier to justify buying a 2nd, then a 3rd, and soon you've got a few shelves of them

1 year ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Let me help you with this:

1 year ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 1

Beautiful!

And Belle is the best. She's a bookworm and has priorities (namely books).

1 year ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

That's a great figure, OP. Love the detail!

If anybody makes fun of you they are being a real Gaston. My favorite Disney princess is Moana.

Hello she is the best princess! The library!

1 year ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

Umm we are called monster fuckers...

1 year ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

I am being mostly facetious, but I'm still going to ask about it. (OK, I get it; you're free in your imagitation). But why is your fetish something that doesn't exist?

I mean, sure... Let's take Tifa Lockhart. She's also fake, doesn't exist. But someone that dresses like her readily exists and is alive to potentially get together with. Monsters... do not. Why yearn for the nonexistent?

1 year ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I can't speak for others but for me it steams partially from a love of fantasy and science fiction. It is just the realm of an over active imagination and the thought of what if and the accepting of those that are different. It's all just fantasy and fun, and I really don't go into this pinning for it in real life. Everybody has their things and if it's not yours that's okay.

1 year ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Agreed.

1 year ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Well, I guess I won't point out that *they* are the ones whose first thought when seeing Belle is bestiality...

1 year ago | Likes 25 Dislikes 1

Projection and all on the "friends" part.

1 year ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

It isn't even bestiality, its teratophilia, attraction to monsters. Bestiality is attraction to animals and requires non-sapience.

1 year ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

I like her and Moana. I drew her! didn't draw moana yet.

1 year ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

It’s hard to draw a 3D character as 2D

1 year ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

should be ok, I'll do it one day, but these next days I have others to do.

1 year ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Draw Moana! I just commented I fucking love Moana. 🎶 how far I'll goooo 🎶 I'm a 34 year old man and I still wear a Maui fish hook necklace somebody got me from Hawaii, my uncle lives there and I took a childhood trip and... cliche but it's fucking paradise. A month with my uncles and grandparents. And the necklace is like actually quality trinket necklace and I love it, works really good with button ups with rolled up sleeves. Mulan is second favorite

I agree that I related as a child to her being brunette, her love of reading, her devotion to her loving family, her dislike of arrogant men, and her compassion towards every living thing. I’m sure your friends are envious that you can enjoy such little things that don’t cost much. Let people enjoy what they like. I LOVE the Belle you bought. And, I plan to get a teapot that is painted like Mrs Potts someday so I get how fun it is.

1 year ago | Likes 24 Dislikes 0

You had the opportunity to finish and you took it,well done.

1 year ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

So did Beast.

1 year ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 0

1 year ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

That's a nicely done figurine.

1 year ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Beastiality is not the first thing I thought of.
What are these “friends” of yours into?

1 year ago | Likes 23 Dislikes 3

...His name is literally "Beast"...

1 year ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

Yes, but she didn’t buy a “Beast” figure.
Besides, Beast only had abnormally large hands and feet when he first entered the danger room with Cyclops.

1 year ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

And if beast automatically makes a person think bestiality, that isn't saying something about the word beast in general, it's saying something about the person.

1 year ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 1

While that may be true, he is a sapient person capable of expressing consent, so its not Beasiality, which means Animal Rape.

1 year ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Wheel of time is the best book series

1 year ago | Likes 22 Dislikes 4

I liked the Amazon series and I’m disappointed they canceled it

1 year ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 1

As someone who grew up readin my father's set as a kid, I used to say the same. Nowadays I prefer Stormlight Archive. But The Wheel of Time holds a special place in my heart.

1 year ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

I've heard good things but I just can't read a series that isn't finished. It's like watching something that I know gets cancelled, can't do it. (Firefly is probably awesome huh?). Let me know if Sanderson ever finishes a series I guess. Would be good to get a heads up for the impending apocalypse.

1 year ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Firefly did have a movie that tied up the plotlines, fyi. Movie is Serenity.

1 year ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

But I can't imagine it would be the same or do it satisfyingly. Tying up a series of plot point in a movie with its own plot? Had to be a bit jammed in their. *sigh* I got other stuff to watch, it's fine.

1 year ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Reading it now for the first time thanks to power metal band Blind Guardian. It's good stuff.

1 year ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

Once you get to the Ogier Gardeners... power metal in the background is pretty fitting.

1 year ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Not the Seanchan ones, the steading ones in the Two Rivers. I've said all I can say without giving spoilers.

1 year ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Technically, you're into someone who was okay with beastiality, but never acted on it...

1 year ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 2

Except it was extremely apparent he was able to speak right from the get go before she developed feelings for him, so at worst she's just a furry.

1 year ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

To her visible regret

1 year ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

We don’t know that but I assume she was in the mindset that his consciousness was indeed human

1 year ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

oh well that just makes her a monsterfucker.

Are your friends 10 year old boys?

1 year ago | Likes 244 Dislikes 3

Yeah, fuck your friends. I mean, unless they're lions, in which case that might send the wrong message....

1 year ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

If your 10 year old even knows what beastiality is you failed as a parent.

1 year ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 5

That’s pretty harsh. 10 year olds go to school and learn things from other kids without your consent or control. Since you have two kids, maybe be considerate of how hard the job is and don’t tell others they’ve failed for something they might lot be able to control.

1 year ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Perhaps my wording wasn’t great. I didn’t mean they were complete failures just that they failed in that one thing. I know kids spread stuff around but 10 is really young to be talking about this kind of thing.

1 year ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

You dont have kids, do ye?

I had friends who always make snide comments about everything I was excited to share. Guess who now saves thousands in birthday presents every year?

1 year ago | Likes 158 Dislikes 2

Having recently lost two best friends I knew for 20+ years, it has become more and more obvious they were judgmental assholes who did the same thing; they can't be excited or happy for you in a meaningful way.

1 year ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

1 year ago | Likes 29 Dislikes 0

Its not Bestiality if all involved can pass the Harkness test. That's like Monster Fucker 101.

1 year ago | Likes 473 Dislikes 12

Isn't Bestiality ANY non-human? So like Elves and Vulcans are all Bestiality.

1 year ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Also you should be concerned about fantasizing abusive relationships. Like ones built on Stockholm syndrome. https://media4.giphy.com/media/v1.Y2lkPWE1NzM3M2U1aWZ3cmVkYXp4d2Q1emNqOWZpdXNxcXltZzZldWdjZHFvdXFkdDlqNiZlcD12MV9naWZzX3NlYXJjaCZjdD1n/11Snquus0lDsPu/200w.webp

1 year ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Beauty and the beast is not anything to do with Stockholm syndrome. Which in itself isn't the most evidentially supported.

While there was a power difference, Belle was not helpless, and didn't love the beast because of the power difference, but more in spite of it.

Somewhat ionic the Harkness test involves informed consent when Barrowman has had multiple reports of exposing himself without it

1 year ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

You can tell OP isn't into it because they didn't spell it right. Now you on the other hand, friend.................

1 year ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

Well thanks! Way to ruin it for me. You must be *super* fun at orgies...

Reminds me of the time I lived in a house with a bunch of other dudes, and I got a kitten. Dude was in the loft room, so rarely properly shut his door. One time he was getting in some quality alone time with just him and Rosie Palm and her five sisters, kitten snuck in and saw the covers moving. Pounced. Claws out.

Found out years later same thing happened to another housemate at the time. Motherfuckers, lock yo door before beating your dick like it owes you money!

1 year ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 1

Some chick's roomate's cat licked my buthole the first time her and I did anything. She had previously told me she didn't have a cat. Took it literally I'm afraid. Now I ask potential partners "if they have cats at their home" I'm woefully allergic to cats. That was a shocking and extremely itchy ordeal.

1 year ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 0

That sucks, but I'm kinda glad that's how it ended. Could have been a waaaay worse ending to a comment beginning like that.

1 year ago | Likes 37 Dislikes 0

Mr Burns is a monster.

1 year ago | Likes 33 Dislikes 0

1 year ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 0

Not passing judgement but I feel like having knowledge of the harkness test is not going to win this particular argument tbh

1 year ago | Likes 185 Dislikes 3

Then they weren't friends worth having.

1 year ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

lol

1 year ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Oh, there’s no argument. This is education. We know who we are.

1 year ago | Likes 21 Dislikes 0

Wasn't Jack Harkness from Dr. Who/Torchwood mostly dealing with aliens? Was there bestiality involved there?

1 year ago | Likes 52 Dislikes 1

No, because the test works.

1 year ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Yup!

1 year ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

When?? Source.

1 year ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

No, but plenty of monsterfucking. Ergo, Harkness test to differentiate between the two. If our good buddy Jackie won't fuck it, you shouldn't fuck it either.

1 year ago | Likes 48 Dislikes 0

Jackie Daytona? Regular human bartender?

1 year ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 0

Exactly.

1 year ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

No thats a bad example he will fuck anything that movies, and many things that don't.

1 year ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

Sort of like having knowledge of the difference between pedophile and ephebophile?

1 year ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 9

Both of which are mental conditions where someone feels an attraction to underage people, and distict from child molesters who rape children.

1 year ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Half of us know that from hearing people INSIST one is more okay than the other. Only time I hear the term was when someone UMM ACTUALLY's me (or others in a thread I'm in) on reddit.

1 year ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Considering how much the video of the stand up comedian saying, essentially what you said, has popped up on Imgur over the years I thought people would get the reference. The point being that, again as you say, bringing it up isn't persuasive and makes people question you. Much like using the Harkness test in an argument about bestiality. Apparently it isn't as well known as I thought it was, which is on me.

1 year ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

No, you were right, it's the downvoters who would fail the Harkness test.

1 year ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I got the reference, that comedy sketch has done several circuits

1 year ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

It might slightly be on me, I hate stand up and skip anything with it, so it could be pretty well known.
