Wacky little dinosaurs with their delightful calls... we have catbirds (grey mockingbirds) around here that imitate sounds... there was one a while back that did a bit of "Dixie" because some nincompoop had a car horn that played it (like the General Lee from Dukes of Hazzard)... you can actually engage with them by whistling short tunes at them... if they are intrigued the repeat it back, if they are really interested they remember it and incorporate it into their calls. Crazy lil' dinos.
When I was a kid, we used to go to the zoo regularly and there was an aviary right by the entrance with kookaburras. -Every time- my father would sing the kookaburra song and 3 decades (and some change) later, I cannot see one of those fucking birds without singing/humming the song. So *ahem* Kookaburra sits in the old gum tree / merry, merry king of the bushes he. / Laugh kookaburra. / Laugh kookaburra. / Gay your life must be.

No, the bird's actually called the Willow Ptarmigan. There are plenty of birds that are named after the sounds they make though, including: Phoebes, Pewees, Chickadees, Whippoorwills, and more
For those that dont get it, in some mexican regions "A Huevo", which directly translates to "To Egg", is an expression that practically means "Of Course"
They, literally, are dinosaurs. All birds belong to the clade Dinosauria. Dinosaurs didn't all die out - their family evolved, and they're still with us.
The Non-avian dinosaurs died out. The regular big ones were not adapted to burrow anywhere and died.
The impact was like releasing the heat of billion nuclear bombs, hence the surface of the planet literally became an oven after the big astroid impact. All surface life that couldn't survive going underground were cooked alive.
5. Koel is called 'Storm Bird' as they frequently call before rain arrives in summer. The Coucal 8 (or Pheasant Coucal here in Oz) is also called 'Swamp Pheasant'. They have a habit of flying low across country roads at dusk in a sort of stuttering glide, scaring the shit out of you. Their call at night 'woomp, woomp, woomp, woomp' is quite eerie.
