How could you suspect that from appearances? Ruffled coat and dirty paws?
Wasting in the hindquarters, lack of grooming, a certain look about the face I can't describe (sunken, dull eyes, maybe?) I've had (1/2)
three cats go that way. One had diabetes, but it was kidney disease that did him in. I could be wrong, of course.
